There are not a lot of toys that fly. There are drones, but those are for young ones. This does just that. For $10, my 3 year old got a great experience. This is just as much about fun as it is about developing motor skills. After practicing 20 minutes or so, my son got the hang of it and know how to ‘throw' paper airplanes. And of-course the motor make the plane fly further. This is soft Styrofoam material and so it won't hurt anyone. I just wish they sold two planes in one pack. We only need one battery pack, but a set of two planes would have been really nice. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review
I bought 3 of these Air Hogs thinking it would be great outdoor entertainment for my 3 Grandsons. For the price they would be worth it even if they only lasted for an afternoon of boy play. No assembly required which was great, but the boys did need help getting the planes out of the boxes. The charger requiring 3 AAA batteries charged within the 30 Seconds noted on the instructions. We did have to remind them to throw in the air and away from people. Also, to ensure the plane last longer as it just falls to the ground when done, I recommend to play with them in a grassy area. Two of the 3 I bought did last through the afternoon and will be played with again. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review

It takes 3 AAA batteries and no on or off switch. Good to take to the park some where with lots of open space. This does get some beating since it will just fall to the ground when done.
