if you have a boy who loves cars, this was a great gift. Performed as anticipated. Does drive around on the walls just like it states. Only downfall is that it is a bit noisy. Love the fact that it charges through the remote control so that there is one less piece to try and locate when it comes time to charge it.
This was the biggest Christmas hit at our house! My son has not put it down! Yes, if you hit an imperfection in the wall, it will stop and drop. Yes, it is a little loud, but what RC isn't? Overall, this is huge fun! Where else can you drive a car on mom's walls and ceilings?? I would definitely recommend this one to friends!
Just received this Air Hogs Mini SUV for my Grandsons Birthday, He just turned 6 and is having a ball with it and it sure stands up to falls off walls and bumps in corners. It keeps him bussy for hours. One suggestion , remove pictures on your walls!!! Again great product.
I bought 2 of the Air Hogs Zero Gravity for my sons. They are 9 years old and 5 1/2. They love them. They are still interested in them. The only problem is you have to physically place them on the ceiling. That's great if your tall, but if your small with high ceilings it could be a issue. The toy doesn't go from the wall to the ceiling either. It's a little noisey but it keeps them occupied for hours. The batteries do need to be charged often.
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas and he states it works great. Would reccommend it to other kids. He likes running it on the wall, it works good on the walls. On the ceiling it sometimes fall off. He loves the car very much. He can't wait to show all his friends the car and how it works.
I bought this for my 8 year old son and when he opened it, I was very disappointed with how small the car was for the amount of money I paid for it! My son loved it, so I guess that was enough satifacation seeing his face when he opened! But probably would not by another one!
This product works very well overall but there are a few obstacles. You must have a completely FLAT surface on which to drive. In my old house, there are lots of cracks and crevaces on the wall so it stopped quite a bit (of course, not the products fault). Also, you have to be VERY careful when driving the car on the floor. It is very fragile and easily collects dirt and debris that can tangle in the wheels.
I bought three of these for Christmas. This style seems a bit heavy and it was difficult to find a smooth enough spot to run it up the wall. When I got to my brother's, he had bought some that were about half the the size which seem more advantageous to climbing, etc. The day after Christmas, my husband told me one was broken. One of the wheels won't turn. He's not sure if it picked up something on the floor like a tree needle or it just is jammed. If he can't get it working, I'll have to return it. They did have fun running them around on the floor and the cats had fun watching and chasing them.
I bought this for my little brother for Christmas. Make sure that you have no texture on your walls at all. We eventually had to just drive it on the sliding glass door. It clings nicely, but getting it to actually go up the door is another story. Forget about it if you have even the slightest flaw in your perfectly smooth wall or ceiling.
For two months my kid was ranting and raving about wanting a car that drove on the ceilings and walls. So when Christmas came around it was one of his gifts. It works using air suction. Well it stuck to the wall, but didn't move. Not much fun actually.
