This 3/8" 16-strand braided 60 ft. tow rope is rated at 2,375 pounds tensile strength. There's a 6" loop spliced at each end. A Rope Keeper is included for tangle-free storage. Designed for 1 and 2 rider tubes. Airhead and Sportsstuff inflatables and accessories are made of the highest quality materials in the industry. We pride ourselves in building our products with 840 denier nylon covers and 30 gauge PVC bladders, a standard few others can stand behind. The rope comes with the ends closed with no way to open them to put on a boat hook. Will have to find clip type hooks that will hook on both the boat and the rope. Otherwise it looks strong enough to pull a tube
