This brand has always been good to me. Never have a problem, shoes last about 10 months in my experience with moderate wear from running, working, etc. You can't go wrong for $20
My son skateboards nearly everyday. He's getting really good. Popular skateboard shoes cost anywhere from $50 - $80. Skating as often as y son does he would burn through shoes every 2-3 months. He LOVES these shoes for skating and I love the price!!

There is no cushion in the heel of the shoe and just jabs into your foot and cuts your foot. Terrible shoe, I had returned them.
Bought a similar pair two years ago and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. These hurt my feet something awful.
