This Authentic African Black Soap is just great. I have rather sensitive skin, but this soap really works for all parts of the body. Well, I did not wash my hair with it, yet. The soap I used previously was quite sharp and I had to be very careful that it would not come anywhere to my private parts. With this soap no issue at all. I can also wash my face with it - leaves a nice feeling on the skin. Highly recommended!
I use this on my face and helps with acne so far (a couple of weeks). Not too fragrant and worth the money
I am SO grateful for this product! In only a couple short weeks, it has cleared up about 85% of my skin problems! At first I was extremely worried about using it on my face because I have serious, painful acne-prone skin. I couldn't believe that a reasonably affordable product would not only (a) NOT aggravate the problems, but (b) make such an improvement in such a short time! I put my faith in this product on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm excited to say she was right about how helpful this product is. To be able to support Alaffia's Empowerment Projects, too, by purchasing such as quality product makes me a new loyal customer!
Love the creamy feel and totally unscented. Rinsed clean. I used it as a hand wash, body wash in the shower, and as a face wash. Loved using it every time. Would like to use it as a shampoo next. But not sure if I can use it for that purpose. Would definitely buy again and recommend. Now I want to try their other products!
This truly is an all in one soap! I most often use it in the shower with my loofa sponge. The soft sudsy moisturizing bubbles are amazing and my skin feels and looks so good after use. It is also gentle enough for my face and helps rid of blemishes that may appear. Now and then I use it as a shampoo and my hair and scalp love it too, One of my favs, will never be without it!
It's authentic, raw and fantastic! When I'm unable to get black soap from Ghana, Alaffia is what I use!
Love this product. No complaints. I wish I had gotten one of the scented ones though.
This is my first time purchasing the Authentic African Black Soap All-In-One, Unscented 16 oz. bottle of liquid soap for my family's use. My teenager son and daughter are using this product as their daily face wash. I've noticed this soap is non-drying and gentle on their skin. I would recommend this product and repurchase it again.
I like the simplicity of it. I can't say it really did much. Felt like every other body wash.
I wanted to love this soap, but it irritated the skin on my face after one use.
