Makes my hair very soft and smell amazing. Would definitely purchase again. Very moisturizing too!
I love this conditioner. Thank you so much, Alaffia for making it unscented, because I need that. This is thick and luxurious. I like the creamy texture. It's moisturizing. I need to use a good amount because anemia and perimenopause have given me really dry hair. This helps a lot. I have fine hair too, and I don't feel it weighs it down, but again, my hair is super dry right now.
Like the title says, it definitely does its job and I love the ingredients, but I do feel like I have to use quite a bit to feel like it's staying in my hair.
Me: type 3 curls/low porosity/low density/virgin This conditioner is very lightweight, not thick. It has a decent slip when applying. Maybe I'm used to the thicker types but it just doesn't feel super moisturizing or luxurious. It probably actually is fitting for my hair type as, while curls are naturally dryer, mine are not damaged or thick. I can't complain about the amount you get for the price - it's a good deal. Mostly scent-free, though I do smell a faint hint of licorice root.
I was really looking forward to this as I love alaffia and their products. But my hair is just too dry to be the perfect candidate for this conditioner. If you have an oily scalp and don't need much moisture this may be good for you. It's perfect for my two year old so it's mainly used for him. He has Fragrance sensitivity so it's awesome. It's also a great shaving cream so there's that! I still use it when my hair doesn't need too much moisture so I think it deserves four stars.
A nice affordable conditioner for all ages, fragrance free but it dies have a mild weird smell but it will wash away with water. Very practical, packaging easy to use.. the size is amazing. It's gonna last two months. The quality of the product itself is very, very nice. It conditions my hair very well and leave it soft , i use allot of product at once to detangle my hair.
Like the other reviewer said, this conditioner definitely could use more slip. It's almost worthless as a detangler, which is the main reason I use conditioner. I even used 5X the amount I normally would use of another brand. And my hair is straight and pretty smooth. On the plus side, my hair did feel very soft after drying. Given that I have to use 5X what I would normally use to get this effect, it negates the cost savings I thought I was getting by buying a large amount of product for a relatively low price. I probably wouldn't buy this again.
I bought this because it's fragrance free. It does an ok job keeping my hair soft, but I definitely need to use an oil afterwards as well. Not sure I'm going to repurchase. I have straight fine hair.
I was super excited to order this, because you can't find bottles of shampoo or conditioner for this price these days! However, I was disappointed to find out that this product has citric acid in it. When I ordered it, the ingredient wasn't labeled on the website, but the bottle I received did have it.
package just arrived today. So sad that the ingredients don't match the website. cetearyl alcohol is listed second on the item that arrived after water, and there is an emulsifying wax much higher on the list and Ethylhexylglycerin.has been added. So sad that they dropped the concentration of Shea Butter.
