Easy and convenient for older gold who have no use in using smart devices, and allows for better access with bigger buttons.
So far I have been fairly pleased with this phone. KaiOS is really nice and the features are great. The only issues I have had is that my phone doesn't want to seem to work with with my wifi anymore it did at first, could be the phone doesn't work with 5ghz or split routers.
Good phone for a flip. Better than the one I had years ago. It does what I want: makes calls, receives calls. Internet is good but I don't use it. Good battery.
It's a good phone with minimal functions. Perfect for the purpose - someone who will not use the basic smart phone features and still likes a good flip phone.
I bought this phone for my dad who is almost 80, as a replacement for an older flip phone. The good things are clarity and the buttons are larger as is the screen. However this phone has no accessibility features and no ability to assign different ringtones to contacts m.
The review for this phone stated that it can be tracked using the att location sharing and it can not be done.
This is the one of the only basic Phones offered now. The number buttons are big and nice. Could be easier to navigate to and from contacts, texts and other functions. Functions not labeled above number keys, scrolling ring takes some getting used to. Difficult to text, I expected that to a degree but worse than I thought. Hard to see the contact you are on/trying to select due to dark background. So few options for those that can't or won't use a smart phone. Battery is good, volume adjusts quite well. I think next I will force this person to get a smart phone as a touch screen has got to be easier for him than this?
Very hard to set up. This seems like it our be impossible for a senior. Even getting the battery in was hard (why isn't it already inside anyway). And the small rocker control is really hard to use as you need your fingernails. Finally, all the google stuff is a confusing distraction. You just need a simple flip phone
says 'Unlocked' but its 'locked' through at-t so I wasn't able to get the service I wanted. this was a major pain to get done
We purchased this for my Mom who is 90 yrs old. We found the instructions to put the battery in place before charging very hard to open. Also, we feel more instructions should be given in simple terms such as how to increase the volume for ring tone, etc. I believe this phone was made for the older generation and some of them do not have a computer or even know how to download the book to find out how to find these different things needed to set up their voice mail etc. I would recommend a better brochure with the Flip Phones.
