i ordered this wind generator and it came in last night. i took it out to my land this morning and started to install it. it came without the pedestal. so here i was trying to figure out how im gonna even get it running without one of the major components... managed to rig up a couple fence posts with duct tape, and tent tie downs to stakes, looks like something from billy bob's pawn and salvage, but had to macgiver something... secondly, there is a lot of flash left on the 2 parts the blades fit in, i highly recommend clearing all the flash first, and not try my method of partial assemble, dissemble , clean, repeat till it all fit together. hindsight says i should of stuck with a solar panel system instead of spending over 300 on this... If you do order this product, make sure all parts are there BEFORE signing, I have no idea how to even contact this company to ask for a pedestal not sastified is an understatement.
This device is a 120v turbine, which came with a rectifier which then produces the advertised 12 volts? Needless to say, when mine showed up, it was all scratched up as those it was a return from someone else or roughly handled at the factory, and when I installed it (Correctly) it has yet to produce a solid 12 volts as advertised. Needless to say, the product is "NOT" as advertised and I'm Extremely disappointed in this purchase and the company which produces it. Well over $250.00 flushed down the toilet. My suggestion at this point is buyer beware! Makes a nice lawn ornament, thats about all I can do with it at this point. Just wanted to "Truthfully" let everyone know.
