Alesis Harmony 32 Portable 32-Key Mini Digital Piano/Keyboard with Built-in Speakers, 300 Built-in Sounds, 40 Demo Songs, USB-Midi Connectivity comes with free online lessons so you can be either a beginner or experienced pianist and play this instrument. It has pretty good sound from its speakers that are built in. Beginners can use the preprogrammed sounds/music to listen to, enjoy, and use for inspiration. This keyboard is easy to plug in and just use out of the box too.
This Alesis Harmony keyboard is great! My 12 year old son loves it. The keyboard has songs programmed in along with sounds which your able to record and play back. The only downside was the "free" app promo that came with it wouldn't work..the links just kept going in circles. So if You are only purchasing because it come with a free lesson app. I would Definitely purchase a separate option. Other than that. Like, I stated it's great, affordable, and has plenty of bells and whistles for beginners. Minus the lessons.
This little keyboard is perfect if you want to learn, but you don't have a lot of room. It would be easy to carry around if you put batteries in it. It has several built in sounds including a metronome. It is light enough even tiny aspiring pianists can use it. My daughter sits it on her lap to play. The included usb cord works with any usb wall wart.
Great for any melody one can compose. My kiddos love Music and play this instrument when we are on the go. The beauty that it turns off by itself if left untouched is a great saver. The variety of music keys and tones encourages creativity not only in young ones but also in adult users. Instead of always walking to where the piano is, this portable keyboard can be carried around anywhere. I love to use it outdoors when the weather is great and I just want to enjoy the outdoors. Great also for entertainment as the volume can be really loud. Must have for the picnic dates. No power cords to trip over. It's a Must have
I wouldn't say this is necessarily just a "kids" toy but I have boys ages 7 & 9. We haven't started formal piano lessons or anything, but we do also have a large full size keyboard. They enjoy this portable keyboard by trying out the different tones (there are 300 "tones" or instrument types). They also like playing with the demo songs, and slowing them down or speeding up the tempo. It comes with a USB cable, but not the charging plug for power. We usually have a ton of those around the house so we are able to plug it in the wall outlet. It has a battery compartment. It can also be hooked up to a computer. We have not tried this for recording purposes but my kids love to record their own songs on the keyboard itself. It also comes with a couple of months of virtual lessons, that is a big plus. We are definitely going to look into that. The sound quality is "okay", but this is a small portable keyboard so it's on par with the size. There is a headphone jack as well for when the kids want to play the same demo song over and over and over.....
This is not one of those cheap plastic throw away keyboards. This is a very well made keyboard and perfect for a child who is interested in learning piano. My 9 year old loves this keyboard so much so that we plan to get him the Harmony 61 for Christmas. This lightweight keyboard comes with a usb cord that you can plug into your computer or usb charger. It can also be used with 4 AA batteries for portability. There is also a headphone jack. The sound quality is wonderful. There is 300 different tones to choose from when playing. The record button allows you to record your own tune and play it back. There is a built in metronome feature where you can select between 4 different time signatures. There are 40 different demo songs you can play. It comes with downloadable software to help you learn how to play. All in all I definitely recommend this keyboard to others.
This is a cool portable keyboard. It's compact and light but has nice sound. It has fun features like a drum kit sound options. It can connect through usb and has a lot of fun sound choices to create songs with. It also has demo music that will play on its own at the push of a button. The sound is clean and clear.
Before selecting this item, I wasn't familiar at all with the Alesis brand. Because of the cool features that this keyboard listed, I thought I would give it a try. The sound quality coming from the keyboard is amazingly good. The record feature is one of the best features of the keyboard. Hearing yourself back as you play is a great learning tool. The keyboard comes with a USB charger that can also be plugged into the wall with a power plug (not included) and also directly into a PC. You can also download a keyboard app to help you learn how to play. The keyboard has various instrumental sounds, including piano, strings, guitar and brass. It also has various tones and sound effects like helicopter blades, bells, whistles and hand claps. You can even choose different beats to use in the background as you create your own music. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.
Got this item for my 9yr old, I wanted to get him an instrument that he would be able to practice at home especially during these times where we are limiting our outings due to covid. So far he has been watching YouTube videos on the basics. I catch him on his free time jamming out to his own tunes. It came with an app for more instructions and it also has additional sounds to add to your rhythm like drums, clapping, bells, etc. Definitely a great gift!
for what it this is, a starter piano, it's great. it is small enough for the little ones hands. the speakers are loud enough, it has appropriate outputs. the only grip and or complain is that the keyboard angles down slightly for whatever reason. this design choice is poor. the keys are ok quality, not the best.
