I bought this for my mom who was having back pain. She loved it!! Said it really worked and was so easy to use!
I was skeptical at first. However, this piece of technology actually works.It really does help against muscle pains. Nice job Aleve.
This unit is amazing! I have lower back problems; the unit stayed in place without any problems & is much easier to use than a corded machine. The remote works great. My search for the perfect TENS unit is over. I immediately told my friends & family who have TENS devices to buy this one.
After watching a video on YouTube.com the start-up was easy. I used the appliance for a short while and I could feel the muscles in my back feeling better... but I had to return it to Walmart for a refund. I read the small print and saw I can't use it with my pacemaker.
I own two other kinds of TEN'S Device's. What I love about this one is, 1) it runs about 5 different programs automatically in 30 min. 2) I can ware it anywhere with comfort. 3) just start it, and 30 min later, it shuts down by its self. My other TEN'S Device's are like what you would find at a DR.'s office. Wires everywhere. Not something you could wear in public.
The Aleve Direct is a little difficult to put on by yourself, as most tens are. Once it is on brace yourself, the initial pulsing is strong and you probably would want to have your finger on the down button ready to adjust. It does help a lot with back pain and spasms. The remote control is a great feature , better than having to try to reach behind u to turn on n off and adjust like some others. I recommend it 95%.
I have a very bad lower back that only medication has helped. I'm sure the only cure for me is going to be surgery. However, I got the Aleve Direct Therapy TENS Device just to see if it would help, and it really has. I can't bend over, I can't tie my shoes, I can't even walk my dog without terrible pains in my lower back. When I wear my TENS device all of the things I do that cause pain are relieved. It doesn't completely stop the pain, but it makes it tolerable. When I bend over to pick something up, I can just stand up without having to find something to hold on to and help pull me up. It's not something that will cure me but it sure makes the pain more manageable and allows me to do a lot of the things I couldn't do before. My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is when I turn it on and when it is reaching the end of it's cycle it causes irritation to the skin. I can handle that. It's a small price to pay for the back pain relief. I'm very happy with the results and would recommend the Aleve Direct Therapy TENS Device to anyone with lower back pains.
This product helped my husband a great deal when other remedies did not work or did not work as well. We like that it is drug-free.
Fast shipment. One problem it had a security device on it and as soon as i clipped it off the alarm went off and the dog howled. It took me a while to shut the stupid thing off. If they are shipping it to customers to their home why on earth would they put a security device on it. The device is AWESOME, the pads on the other hand ROT. you cant use the pads more than twice and they are expensive to replace ($16/two). If they could do something about the pads then they would have a flawless item.
Old and expired. Complete crap. These were great "back in the day" but I can't believe they are selling expired, useless things.
