I've tried a lot of frozen fries and these might be my new favorites. Other fries, i've sometimes had to cook as directed and toast after to get them to crisp up, these were just the right amount of firmness. Love them with ketchup but also with honey :)
Finding organic french fries is hard. Finding one that uses organic oils is even harder! Since GMO canola oil is so prevalent, was thrilled to find that this brand uses organic (non-gmo). These are the only oven fries ALL my kids will eat! My 6 year old even said they were better than mc D's. Please don't change anything!!
My favorite oven fries by far. They actually get crunchy which my from-scratch oven fries never, ever do. PERFECT amount of salt, which is good, because added salt doesn't stick to them. Fabulous potato flavor. No alien laboratory ingredients, every one of the ingredients is something I could buy in any ordinary grocery store and use myself. (I'm not a big fan of the industrial processed oils but I figure I'm not eating fries every day and I eat very few other things that contain them, so it's not the end of the world.) Best way to take care of my fish-and-chips cravings without going out to a restaurant! I DO wish, however, that you would use a zip-top bag - not everyone cooks the entire bag at once. I live by myself so I just bake a handful at a time and then am stuck with an open bag I can't properly reclose. The bag doesn't twist tightly enough to get a good airtight closure with a twist-tie, so the fries pick up "freezer funk" which is nasty, and rubber bands get brittle in the freezer and often break. Putting the open bag of fries inside a zip-top freezer bag is the best option, but it would be so much easier if you just put a zip-top on the bag itself like so many other frozen-food manufacturers do.
Our family loves alexia in general, these fries are always a dependable side for a grilling day. I hope they come back in stock, I will order again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
these fries were my introduction to the Alexia product line... i've never been afan of frozen fries.. these have changed my mind.. Delicious they are. Crisp -- with the right amount of salt. They tasted almost like homemade. Perfect along side a turkey burger...
Me and my family love these natural fries, it have just the right amount of seasoning and tastes fresh and yummy. I stuck these into the oven with homemade chicken fingers and enjoyed it very much with my family. it is a great and healthy alternative to fast food fries
These fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I love that they are organic for one and our daughter loved them as they are easy to dip in sauces or make as a main dish like nachos. I love that these are good for you and go great with chicken and fish. I did get this product for free but I am giving my own opinion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alexia Organic Yukon select food tastes really good, I got them from Whole Foods. It has a great packaging. I Simply put them into the air fryer, and soon it will be a delicious meal!
These are some of my favorite fries but if the sodium content was reduced just a bit more to 140mg sodium per serving that would be fantastic and make them even so much more healthier. After all, that sodium is really not needed because the potato taste is so good. There are many other seasonings that could be used that would not add sodium. Also canola oil is a by product of rapeseed so how can it be organic?
Been buying for over a year. Loved the way they browned and got crunchy. I noticed the last 2 bags taste way different and don't brown. Looked at ingredients and apple juice is no longer listed as an ingredient. So dissappointed! Whatever the change that was made took away the magic of this brand. Organic yukon.. please go back
