I love sweet potatoes and I'm not an overly big fan of tator tots. I bought these on a whim one day and have been buying them for myself ever since. My kids and my husband don't like them because they don't like sweet potatoes, but I eat these in place of fries and tator tots for a side dish. Also for a yummy snack. They're great! I wish these, specifically, were easier to find in my local Walmart because normally I have to buy multiple bags at a time so I know I'll have backup if I can't find them (they're usually out and only have the crinkle fries which I'm not a fan of!) LOVE THESE! Please keep them in better stock in the store! Thanks! 😊
These sweet potato puffs -- crispy on the outside, soft and hot on the inside -- make a delicious accompaniment to baked chicken, turkey, or ham. I recommend using 10 to 15 puffs per serving. Try cutting a small to medium-sized acorn squash in half and scooping out any pulp/seeds. Pour 1/4 cup of half-and-half into the hollow of each squash half, then top off with a single layer of sweet potato puffs interspersed with mini marshmallows and a dash or two of a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350 deg F for about one hour to prepare savory and festive side dishes your family and guests will love! (Hint: Add the marshmallows about 10 to 15 mins before the end of baking time and remove squash/sweet potato portions after the upper surface of the marshmallows is light to medium brown on top.)
I've ever ate in a sweet potato form. I've tried baked, boiled and nothing is better for these sweet potato's are air fryer friendly, oven friendly for that crispy on the outside and tender sweet on the inside. I recommend this product. Great potato substitute for that change up, you might be looking to get away from the starches,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the taste of these puffs. They have a burst of sweetness without it being too sweet. They were very crispy yet soft inside. I will buy again.
These are going to be my new go to with my meals like they buttery, crispy, and sweet I think they healthy but idk for sure lol they just really good
I was a bit apprehensive to buy these after reading all the reviews saying that they were too sweet. I was dreading that they would be sticky/ syrupy sweet on the outside by the way some of the reviews described them. Thankfully, these sweet potato tots far exceeded those expectations. In my opinion, they are not too sweet, they're just right for sweet potatoes. I put a handful in the air fryer at 400° for 10 minutes and they come out perfect. The basket usually has a small amount of oil that comes out of the tots as they are cooking but I dont add any oil to cook them. They go great with scrambled eggs. The only thing I'd like to see change is a lower price.
Get the sweet potato fries instead I think there's more in there than the tots.
I love sweet potatoes in most forms, but I found these to be nauseatingly sweet with a really artificial vanilla flavor to these. Ate a couple and had do toss the rest.
Not good. Too sweet. Do not recommend.
Had to visit the website for air fryer instructions – irritating. I was only cooking a small amount, so slightly lowered the time given for a half-bag. They were mushy at that point, so gave another 2 minutes. Then another 3 minutes more than the half-bag time. Still not crisp, so I gave up. Too bad I wasted all the preheat and cook time. One bite and I was done. Overwhelmingly, disgustingly, sweet. No wonder – turns out cane syrup is the second ingredient. Straight into the trash.
