I've tried surround sound and I can really tell where the sound is coming from around me. One of the best purchases I've ever made. They are comfortable and of very good material.

These are great headphones. Does exactly what i wanted and pay for. They're a bit pricey, but well worth it. I can hear things far away and close by while gaming. Get these if you have the money

Got these paired with an aurora r11 and a 510k. Great set up, fit comfortably, they have a quality feel to them, and they look sleek. Sound is astounding and the surround sound is very precise. Not a bad price for what you get, especially with how expensive headsets are these days.

The sound is amazing and the background noise is practically nonexistent. I started using it to listen to music as well and to my surprise it's as good if not better than most headsets designed for music. You get what you pay for with this headset and a little more. I 100% recommend this headset.

There very comfortable like i can wear them for 8 hours or more with no ear pain. I even like them more then my corsair wireless head set and that's one of my top picks too but I don't like the battery life on that head set.

My only complaint of the headset is the cheap feel of the adjustable mic and the small range of sound the headphones pick up in comparison of higher end headsets. It is most certainly geared for gaming though with features that allow easy access the many platforms and apps and the design is sleek fits well other Alienware products of their age, albeit not as shiny and customizable as any of them. They also fit my head well and very comfortable around my ears. If price is an issue for you then I would urge you to consider not upgrading from a standard non-gaming headset for this model, and if quality is of the utmost importance, maybe consider putting down a few more dollars for a different set.
