[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a comfortable feel that doesn't cramp my hands and the movements are nice and smooth. It is very lightweight. It was easy to get used to how to handle it. Very pleased with the product! Thank you Alienware for quality service and products.
This mouse is super comfortable and the wings on either side make for great control. The front thumb button can be a bit of a reach but it doesn't keep This mouse from being great.
Quality mouse. Little small for my hand but I'm a large person to so it's just a personal issue nothing wrong with it at all
I love the feel of this mouse, and the adjustable DPI settings. It is also very helpful to have the DPI clutch, so when you are sniping in Call Of Duty, you can have perfect accuracy. It also comes with 2 thumb buttons that can be bounded. The mouse has a great shape, and you can adjust the RGB settings for the mouse. All in all, it is a great mouse and is worth every penny. Just a side note, when you buy it, it is automatically locked on 16000 DPI, so you have to press/pull down on the little lever button thing under the scroll wheel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product the quality is amazing. I love the features it has and the customization you can do with it. You can customize how quickly you want the mouse to react. You can also customize the button to do different things. This mouse is amazing with all the features and customization you can do with it. The lighting on it is awesome as well you can also customize the lighting on it also. The design of this mouse also let's your hand rest on it comfortably and it makes it very easy to move around. If your looking for a customizable mouse with great features this is the one for you. I highly recommend trying this product out you wont be disappointed.
It has a very comfortable design along with vibrant RGB colors around, and with tons of macros, I am constantly trying out different combinations to up my game. I highly recommend this mouse because of its response time, not having to worry about turning my mouse on and off, like with wireless controllers. After some use, the chord becomes unbent from packaging and, one can easily go without a cord holder.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The buttons on this mouse are extremely tactile. The Alienware Command Center that comes with it to adjust the colors is very user friendly, making the mouse highly customizable. Could be used for all sorts of games from shooters to MMOs. I would say its tailored more towards shooters, as you can adjust the sensitivity on the fly with the button below the scroll wheel. Even with MMOs that typically imply a need for more buttons, you can(and I do) map the keys accordingly and be just as proficient as someone that uses a mouse with a thumb-grid layout. Cannot recommend this one enough. (My pics dont do it justice, they are only to show a few different colors)
All around good mouse. The software is a little awful and takes a good amount of time to figure out. You have to build macro functions in the menu and then physically drag them to the appropriate spots on the mouse. This wasn't intuitive at all. Other than that, very slick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad theres a mouse that was created for gaming.I love playing games on my laptop and tablet but regular mouse i either wear out easily or mouse goes of screen and i have to configure it and keep moving and clicking to move the arrow.itd frustrating.built in mouse on laptop is even worse to me its not good to play.I decided to give alien ware gaming mouse a try..It look like a regular mouse until I looked on the side where theres buttons on it like a regular controller.it works like a game controller.i can play in dark or low lit room.the mouse is lit.i can use as regular mousr.i can click or use wheel to move it or go to another game.its a nice gift for people who play games off of their laptops instead of PlayStation and Xbox.its not better than playing on x box and playstation but with mouse you can feel like you have those
I first want to say how impressed I was by this mouse right out of the box. To the people at Dell and Alienware that have spent the time to get the shape of this mouse to be as good as it is, I am grateful for your team and hope that all future mice are this spot on with comfort. It is well shaped, fairly light, and is aesthetically pleasing! So, lets get to where this mouse has it faults and what I would like to see improved for a future reiteration of this mouse. I have had this mouse since the first part of August and bought it on a whim that it would be better than the G502 that I was using at the time. I have also exclusively used this mouse since purchase and still currently use it everyday. Ok so for the bad, right away the ACC is not designed to be the most user friendly software on the market. To me there is just too much going on instead of sticking to a simplistic design. Personally I setup a mouse to be the exact same for every game and opt for adjusting my in-game settings to my liking so the whole home page dedicated to seeing what games are using your current profile doesn't make sense to me, and using that as a pseudo launcher bugs me more as I don't want a mouse software to launch games when I have launchers like steam already doing that. ACC also has another tab for your games, which is another thing that isn't necessary to have when as stated before is the purpose of the current game launchers....... Once you get through the clutter you'll see a tab for FX that will allow you to customize the mouse for RGB, buttons, and mouse settings. This is realistically the only tab that should be showing in the ACC and not the other tabs at all. Editing the rgb is straight forward and adjusting the settings on the mouse is pretty easy as well. Programming the buttons on the mouse is another story as it is not as user friendly as other mouse macro or keybinds offered through other mouse software like razer or logitech. Some terminology needs adjusted to not just call a simple rebind a macro and the way you rebind the keys is odd. Dragging the new keybind or macro from the drop down menu to each button is how you rebind btw. Also, am I missing something or did I get the wrong mouse? I don't know if the Dell team knows how to count, but would someone let me know if they have 10 programmable buttons? Unless I can't count that well, I can't seem to see how they are advertising 10 buttons when I can only customize 6 buttons. A DPI shift button and a mouse scroll changer can't be considered a re-programmable button when that's their only function. Something that I noticed as well is the mouse buttons besides the main mouse 1 & 2 button, seem to have some input lag with them. I haven't tested it without them being rebound but with my current keybinds I have notice input lag when using them. Something I hope will be fixed by a future update to the software. Ok enough of the bad, let's get to the positives with this mouse. So far I can say that the mouse feels a lot better in hand that my G502 ever did after a long game session. I don't seem to get cramps in my hand and the mouse fits very nicely in my hand. I have pretty long fingers so this mouse is the perfect size for those with bigger hands. The weight of the mouse is nice for extended game sessions for the more casual based gamers and the cord doesn't get in the way or snag on my game pad while playing. This mouse glides on my cloth gamepad and the fins on the back don't cause interference in the mouse when moving it around. The placement of the side buttons is very well thought out and the rubber pad on the side is perfect for thumb placement. The side buttons have a nice gloss finish on them and have a good feel to them when pressing them. After extensive use I haven't had them fail or get stuck so these have been designed to last. All in all I think this is a good mouse overall, but could use some improvements on the software side of things and hopefully a fix for the input lag, also can Dell update this to be truthful for the advertising as it is only 6 programmable buttons not 10. 3/5 for bad software, input lag, and false claim of 10 programmable buttons. TLDR: Cons: - ACC software needs a redesign and a more simplistic feel - Re-binding the buttons could be easier - Actual count of the programmable buttons. It's 6 NOT 10. - DPI switch button is not able to be rebound - Input lag after using the side buttons in games Pros: - Easy to customize the RGB once you find it in ACC - Weight of the mouse is fairly light - The mouse looks great - Design of the mouse is comfortable and fits big hands well - Side buttons are made well and are placed in a comfortable layout - Great for casual gamers and those who plan to play for long sessions - Light and sturdy cord - Competitor to the G502
