[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the headset hate the software. Others can hear me great on this headset. Charges fast, removable mic & can connect through Bluetooth, 2.4 dongle & wire. (Wire connection problem. You cannot connect the headset with wire & mic plugged in at the some times. The wire has a mic that is not the greatest.) Software says the headset is dead even tho its charged does this with more then one device. I have the tri-mode Keyboard, Mouse and headset. Each one at some point showed up showing it was dead.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound quality and sleek and nice design. The noise cancelation is amazing, you can't hear anything or anyone around you. Takes about 15 minutes for a full charge and will last you days of play time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is the best I've ever had, the sound is fantastic, especially when used with Dolby Atmos! It sounds like I'm in the actual game! Even though I have a large head this headset is really comfortable and I can wear it for hours without even noticing I have it on. The mic is extremely clear whether you're chatting on games or using it on a phone call and the anc does a really nice job canceling it background noise. The touch controls are ready to use and get used to and the battery life on this headset is fantastic! Highly recommended.
These are turning out to be my favorite accessory. I needed a new mic for work and headset for nighttime gaming. These turned out to be a little more. Since they have a wifi dongle for PC hookup, and also have Bluetooth, I can wear them for PC usage, and when done, switch em to Bluetooth, and presto, they are connected to my phone so I can go mobile. I wore em all day, and no issues. They don't have the massive sound to blast your ears, but loud enough with noise cancelling that they get as loud as I need em. The headset comes with external mic, but has built in mic as well. External mic does really good job picking up quiet talking and loud talking. It seems to make them all sound a good solid volume. Definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although big Not too heavy. The Alienware Headset is awesome especially when chatting and games but I've also utilize them for work MSP as a systems engineer and talking with clients very comfortable and batteries last a truckload of hours. Is Crystal clear audio.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset has fantastic sound fidelity, and has completely replaced my AirPod max as my default Bluetooth headset. My only concern was the led lights which you can turn off with 3 touches.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are amazing. They have great sound and are certified Dolby Atmos so they add a lot to fps games. Battery seems to last quite a while. They are the perfect addition to complete your full Alienware gaming system having everything match, from the case to the keyboard and mouse, right to the headset. If I had to ask for one improvement it would be to have them adjust down a little smaller. They fit smaller heads, but just barely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess the best way is to have my pros and cons Pros: these are much lighter than the aw988 and cheaper in price. I like the noise canceling feature. they fit very tight to your head. The built in mic is sensative to pick up room noise, suggest to use the seperate mic attachment. the sound is very clear and I can walk around my apartment and still hear the sounds, except in some parts where there is metal piping between the headset and the dongle. The bluetoorh pairs without issue to my phone. cons: the ANC; it doesnt remove all the noise but reduces the room noise enough to be noticed. the battery life of 55 hours is just if you bluetooth it to your laptop or phone (cant do both with the dongle & BT) and have to have the sound at 50%. Since I use the headset for listening to TV and my laptop game at 100% with the dongle, the battery life is about 8-10 hours. Because I wear glasses, the tighness of the headset can cause some iscomfort, l Ihope DELL sells the rubber ear cups as a part to buy as I can see wearing this out with the extended usage. I do miss having the pull down mic like the AW988 as you cant do that with the seperate mic attachment. for me personally the equalization is a little on the bass side but some like it that way. I prefer a more mid range to middle treble. Using the Alienware Command Center has its issues too. battery info is different on the different screens and I cant use the equalizer. when I select it, it changes my system to the build in speakers. 3rd party equalizers help a little. OVERALL, I would buy another one because I like the headset, the price and quality and the privacy i get when playing my online games and not using my 3 speaker system and waking my neighbors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid build, very comfortable. Lovely sound profile, good battery life. Unfortunately let down a bit by software, it keeps announcing that the battery is about dead in the AW command center. But I've never seen it show below 50%, and it pick up again after turning the headset off & back on. Easy five star rating when that gets fixed.
First off, the sound quality is really nice, especially with Dolby atmos. The multiple connection options is also very convenient. The touch feature is also very nice although it seems to be only on one side. I haven't used it much yet, but the AI noise cancelling seems to work very well. All that being said, I would not recommend buying these at full price unless you had points like I did or some sort of discount. The material on this headset feels very fragile, it does not give me the impression that this headset could take the occasional accidental fall. The foam used for the ear padding is the soft kind that rips easy or will eventually start coming untucked. If you have larger ears, this might be a snug fit; it would be nice if there was more space around the ears so that they weren't directly touching the edge. They do charge quickly, but they don't quite last as in long gaming sessions as others headsets I've tried. The detachable microphone is also a huge concern, as it means the jack will be vulnerable to wearing down every time you need to take it out or if you decide to use the cord. Its also kind of annoying that the microphone jack is the same jack for headphone cord. The built in microphone is not so great either. While having the lights on is aesthetically pleasing, it would be nice to have some sort of built in switch to turn them off without the app to save battery life. All in all, I would recommend getting a cheaper headset or (if you really want these for brand or collection purposes) waiting until a big sell. You're not really missing anything and there are much better headsets for less.
