No detailed instructions, no way to determine battery life. Wish i knew more about it. Can it be charged? No charger or charging port. How long is the battery good for? Will this thing still functioning 5 years from now when we may be likely to need it?
I've seen some negative reviews of this product, but it worked for me immediately. I've not had a single issue since I installed the app or connected the card to it. I'm using Android ver 14 on a pixel phone. I hope everyone has the best experience in their usage.
Excellent!! Easy to use! Accurate! Diagnosed my Afib correctly. Confirmed at ER. Had to have an Ablation to get me back to a normal heart rate!! Possibly saved my life!! But does iPhone have this diagnostic capability w/in their operating system?
Carrying a cardio mobile card in my wallet is very comforting to me. If I feel like checking my heart because I may feel a bit light headed or suspect it may be racing, it is always with me. It is so easy to work and my phone and my wallet are always with me when I'm away from home. I just press the on button of my card, and open the Kardia app on my phone and within 30 seconds my EKG results are revealed. This is the second card I have purchased. The first one lasted about 2 years. I am not a techy person so this card is simile to work and gives me information right away AND I don't need my glasses on to be able to read the results. One and done as they say.
Not sure how accurate it is. Thought this was a free service, which it is, but premium you have to pay for, which was a bit of a surprise. It's somewhat user friendly. Just have to play around with it for a bit. It does seem to reflect the "beats".
I wish I had gotten the other one rather then the card. I didn't realize the wallet card had a permanent battery that could not be replaced. After using it a few times I have found that our WiFi in the house will interfere with the communication between the card and my phone.
I found the directions linking the my device to my phone difficult to follow. I contacted support, and have not heard back from them. Rather than wait for the assistance, I kept trying with whatever I thought might work. Well I finally did get it accomplished. I think what threw me off, was be asked, being asked for a number, 12 digit I think. I am now using it. I also thought I'd be adding, 3 more diagnoses than my old Kardia device. I do not think that is the case. While I have your attention, is it safe to put the card in my wallet? Will that turn on the card and waste the battery?
So simple and so handy for me after the TAVR surgery. Dr. Recommended this and I got it on sale then wanted the six lead EKG tester so I have two now. The six lead is absolutely amazing and my cardiologist said it is as accurate as their office unit. I have the Omron BP tester that automatically works with the Kardia app to record my BP along with the EKG.
I have to try several times to get the card to turn on. Then it keeps saying interference... try again. It takes sometime 10+ times to get to to actually record. I have tried it in several rooms around the house. Same thing. Very frustrating. Battery already down to 94% and have only had it about a week. I know I am constantly in A-Fib and maybe that's the problem.
Bought this for my mother but it doesn't connect with her or my phone. I had also purchased the 6 lead which works well.
