This topper is very sturdy. It would have been nice if it had come in a reusable, zippered, plastic bag, but that is not a deal-breaker. I am confident that I will get many years of use out of this product.
This mattress topper by Allswell gave my mattress a whole new feel. I have a very firm mattress, which is needed because my husband and I have back issues. The mattress is very comfortable, but not necessarily soft. Now that I have this mattress topper I get the benefit of having both a firm mattress and a soft mattress. The mattress topper is about 2.5in thick, but it's a hypoallergenic down alternative filling, not a solid piece of foam so it's not maintaining that thickness when laying or sitting on it. I prefer having the filling because it does not change the overall feel of my mattress. I still get the firmness that I need. This mattress topper has been treated with a microban antimicrobial treatment and it has been scothgarded to help with stains. The topper is made of 100% polyester and can be machine washed in cold water with no bleach. It is recommended to use a front load washer and dryer for best results. The instructions specifically state not to dry clean. This mattress topper fits my 14in king size mattress perfectly. It covers the top of the mattress entirely and the corners are extremely deep, so slipping off will never happen. We are loving the topper.
My wife and I had a lower end futon in our office that was very uncomfortable to lay on but not anymore! This mattress topper really improved it and we can still fold it into a couch when we want. After removing it from the packaging it fluffed up really nice. It gives the bed a nice look with a fitted sheet over it as the square "pillows" show throw through, and by that I mean their outline. I definitely recommend this to anyone needing to make a terrible bed into a decent one. Its not gonna feel like memory foam but it does improve the quality and comfort of the mattress.

Additionally, it is easy to wash in your regular machine, which is great for the average person like me. This is a super great TLC product after a hard day's work, you deserve to come home and sleep on a cloud. I received a queen size and it fits perfectly. I received the Allswell Mattress Topper in a Queen and it's like sleeping on a cloud. The topper is so plush and soft. I love how it sits up high and on the bed, and provides an extra comfortable layer. The topper is soft and it stays cool while you sleep. One of the main things that I love about the topper is that the corners fit perfectly and the topper stays in place. I look forward to going to bed at night to sleep in pure comfort. This is a soft mattress topper. Haven't had any issues with it falling off the bed. It covers the top and sides on the twin mattress. Holds up nicely after being laundered. I like the fact that it has Scotchgard added to keep stains from staying on the topper.

After letting it rest it did add an extra 2.5 inches as advertised. I love that it's treated with an antimicrobial agent to stop bacteria. It's also treated with Scotchgard to protect from stains. So far I haven't noticed feeling any hotter than usual and I've been sleeping very comfortably. This is machine washable but it needs to be done in an oversized machine so I haven't washed it yet.

Review of Allswell pillow top mattress cover. This is an ultra plush pillow top design. I will be using this for the guest bedroom as I do not like extra soft plush mattresses. But I got this to make the guest bed comfortable. This is machine washable, so it's easy care. It adds 2.5 inches of soft cushion to your mattress. I got the full size which is 54 x 75 in. I like that this is treated with antimicrobial microban to prevent bacteria and odors. Overall four out of five stars.
The Allswell pillowtop mattress topper did not really meet my expectations. It was not as soft and fluffy as I was hoping for, I replaced this with a cheap mattress topper that I had for years and the old one had more fluff and filling/softness than this one. The Allswell pillowtop mattress topper was a bit of a let down, if it had a bit more filling, that might improve it, but I don't think I'd buy this topper, I'm looking for something softer, not firmer than my actual mattress.
