This is the only drug store mascara I've been using for a very long time that hasn't irritated my eyes. It definitely helps thicken and looks great with my lashes. It's also at an excellent price point, because the other mascara's which don't irritate my eyes are way more expensive. Also, my mother used to never wear mascara because most hurt her eyes as well. Now, her blue eyes can finally POP with some mascara since this one doesn't irritate her.
In my last review, I stated that this mascara did not remove easily with soap and water and that I had experienced some mild stinging in my eyes while removing it. However, before using the soap and water, I first used a new makeup remover and I've come to realize that it was this that caused the stinging. I've since been using the Almay Thickening Macara and washing it off with mild facial soap and water which seems to remove it just fine. No stinging. I just thought it fair to update this review. As stated in my first review, it does thicken the lashes nicely without clumping.
Been using this for many, many years! Love the product. One coat of the mascara lifts your lashes and makes it fuller. One thing I do not like is if I laugh too hard, it smears a little bit. Other than that, it stays on well and gives you total lift and lash fullness!
I really like this mascara I have sensitive eyes and especially one prone to pink eye for anything. This thickens and lengthens without hardening the lashes. This also means I don't loose as many lashes from breaking or falling. It's really easy to remove with mild soap comes right off! I've used expensive mascaras and this one works way better at a much lower cost. (sorry for any typos)
I am very much interested in trying this mascara “ tomorrow “. New career/ new beauty products are in order.
A very affordable product which you can find convenient at any drugstore! Perfect for your bottom lashes it doesn't make them clumpy at all. A very light weight product. I hardly ever mess up the rest of my makeup with this mascara!
this mascara makes my eyelashes look so full and long! there is not a ton of clumping, but you do have to brush through your lashes a little bit afterwards. super easy to take it off after a long day just wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
I bought this first eyelash thickener 1 month ago and just bought another. I am 77 years old and could NEVER find a product that worked for me. This one is it!!! I am so very pleased and will keep buyiing it. Thanks a bunch!!! TT
This is definitely a trust, worthy name and brand. Sometimes this brand makes my eyes burn, but this one does not love the volume and love the wand love this product. 
Despite this product being labeled as a thickening mascara, I found that it lengthens my lashes but doesn't give them much volume. I also have issues with clumping when I try to apply multiple coats. I like the length this mascara gives my lashes and it works great for a natural look if you only use one coat.
