Bought for son to use mainly for his bike but he uses it for everything. It's perfect. Waterproof and can be dropped. Perfect for his bike riding. No worries if it hits the ground. You can tell it was built to last. These are unbelievably loud. And the the bass is a trip. He has not used the passive charge yet but it's a cool addition. Just need a phone to use that option. As for play time. I think it has 10 hrs but I have a small battery like a power wheel toy type battery on his bike so play time is endless. Plug speaker and phone into battery and go go go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun speaker, I love it! Comes in a cool display case with very easy instructions on how to use the different functions. Pairing it with my device was a breeze and I was able to enjoy listening to music immediately. You can control the volume with your device and also to go back to the previous song or forward to the next. The lights around the speakers are awesome and have a variety of different displays. My favorite is the multicolored flashing lights. You can also turn the lights off if that's not your cup of tea. The sound is incredible, hitting all the highs and lows. It is the perfect size to take on the go or use as an everyday speaker. The battery packs thirty hours of play time and it's easy to recharge with the usb cord & adapter included in the package. It is water proof, shock proof, and dirt proof, so it's built to handle adventures. I like being able to charge my phone either wirelessly or thru usb. I can't wait to take this everywhere I go, it is awesome!
A cool Bluetooth speaker. Quick and easy to pair. The battery life lasts long. I use the speaker all the time. The sound is clear, and the bass is great. The speakers puts out some loud music. It is a tough, waterproof speaker, that can uphold a drop or water. The mount on the bottom allows you to place it on a tripod, jet ski, boat and more. I can even place my iPhone on top of the speaker to wireless charge. It also is equipped with an USB port. The lights on the speaker are cool they beat to the music. It has a 100 ft wireless range. It even floats in the water. The speaker is portable, so you can take it to the beach, pool, boating, back yard and more. The speaker has house party pairing, which allows you to hook up some more speakers to have music flowing everywhere. A mighty powerful speaker with loads of sound. Its party time, grab the speaker and enjoy some music.
Great speaker. Could use more bass and a way to tell how much battery life remaining. An equalizer would be good as well. The wireless phone charging is awesome. Being water proof and rugged it really feels like it will last. I bought it on clearance. At full price I wouldn't have been interested in it.
i went to Walmart lookin for an affordable speaker because my car radio went out and most were gone due to low supplies.. i will say this is pretty loud especially in my car. i used Velcro tape stuff to put on the dash board and on the speaker to keep it in place n it helps alot.. i wanna get another one for my back window
The speakers on my boat are terrible even after I replaced. I purchased this and haven't looked back! Super compact, lightweight but packs a punch! We go out all day/night on the boat and this little guy takes a beating. The battery actually really does last the 30 hours it says. I love that I can charge it on my wireless pad as well with my phone. No cords just toss in on my charger pad. The sound comes out the front and back of this speaker which is great for an entire 360 sound experience. Loud and clear. Connects easlily to my phone and the bluetooth is easily picked up. Best part is its waterproof so no need to worry about splashing or being rough with this speaker. Taking it to the golf course next weekend with us since it's perfect size for my bag and the cart!
My Walmart had these down on clearance for $25 and I got one. After testing it in different situations, one thing is for sure is it's durable and I would not question anything if I dropped it down stairs from how the engineering feels on it. It's very loud as well, but loud doesn't mean everything. The sound quality on it is comparable to... well, quite literally a $25 speaker. I was actually shocked to how poor it sounded for something normally at $100. So, my final thoughts are if you can find this on sale under $40, I'd bite because of how rugged and loud this speaker is. But if you're looking for actual good sound quality music where you can hear everything, this is not the speaker for you.
Speaker is not completely waterproof. I loved the speaker but if you purchase it make sure to take the insurance. Dropped mine in pool, though it started working after a while the pc boards inside did not survive. Was unable to use buttons on top. Also I put it in rice to dry out but I decided to open it up to see if water still present and not only had water also had rice dust. So if you purchase make sure to treat as not water proof. Water Resistant defiantly. Dust proof maybe.
Only had this item for a couple of days. I hooked it up to the charger and went to take a shower. Next thing I know is the smoke detectors going off. Black smoke was pouring out of the speaker holes. I grabbed the thing (bare handed) and drown it in the toilet. I don't think it's my fault.
I purchased IMW580L at Walmart about 5-6 months ago for my work shed. The sound was good/loud while working until trying to use any power tools such as drills or sanders when I could barely hear it. I normally keep it plugged into the charger to keep it fully charged as I also used in the back yard while sunbathing. Today after not using it for about 3 days while it was plugged into the charger, when I tried to turn it on it was dead. I have tried 3 other known working chargers, and none of them worked to charge this unit either. The included charger is apparently good as I used it to charge my headphones, and they charged up just fine. I am quite disappointed at a less than 6 month failure, and feel as though I wasted $89 on this.
