I have a mother in law that has two of everything but somehow didn't have a digital picture frame. I began putting vacation pictures on ours and she loved looking at the pictures. When we have photos to share we leave it plugged in and visitors can look when they have the time instead of forcing them to sit down and go through your 200 photos of Italy. I keep one at my desk at work for the same reason. This was a good price, nice size and came very quickly. She's only had it a week but I think she's really going to enjoy it.
This frame is not huge, but works fine to display pictures in the background and it still an eye-catcher for passersby. It doesn't have its own memory, but you can choose whatever size SD or USB you want and have tons of room for images. It has a good variety of transitions and so far a clear display. It is what they advertise it to be. If you want more, pay more!
Love this Ditigal Photo Frame. It works with any size memory card, so you can load a lot of pictures if you want to. Nice size if you don't have a big place to put it. It came to my house 3 days earlier than it said it would also! Thank you so much for the great service!
I am no way a genius when it comes to electronics. I need more then a book for dummies. This digital photo frame was so easy to use and the pictures came out really great. I bought two of them for gifts. One for my uncle who will be 100 years old this July. What do you get a 100 year old man. I put pictures of his wife and family that we have taken over the years. I know he is going to love it. the other one is for my brother who turns 65 this June. Now I need to get one for myself. great buy
If you are looking for a digital frame that gives you a sharp picture and easy to use this is it. This is the second digital frame I have purchased and out of the two this is the easiest. But, on the down side you are not able to download your photos. You must keep a SD card or a usb in the camera. On the plus side you can simply remove the card, add more pictures reinsert it and it is ready to go. Would certainly purchase this item again.
This is our second frame we have purchased. Great price. The company also has good customer service. We had an issue with images not showing up as they appeared on our PC (they were turned on their side and upside down). Customer service rep directed me to their website to a free software to resolve this issue. Took less than 5 minutes. We plan on buying 2 more to give as Christmas gifts this year.
Once I got the picture frame working well, it is great; but getting the pictures to show as desired was a real pain, as the written and on-line instructions provide no help and the manufacturer's TechSupport was nice but did not know. The problem was that the pictures (taken sequentially and numbered by the camera) did not show in the picture frame in their correct order; even renumbering them (slide 001, slide 002...) did not help. Also, shots taken in portrait mode and turned on the computer before transferring showed in random orientations, including some upside down. The only fix I found was to transfer all the photos into PowerPoint presentation and save the PowerPoint as JPEGs, which when copied to the SD card show in the order and orientation I want. So, knowing this work-around, the unit is fine, and a great deal. I sure hope it lasts over time.
I bought this item for my mother and mother in law to capture all 300 pictures of their granddaughter. I don't know if this is something that can be fixed, but a lot of the pictures are showing vertically instead of horizontally. When I check to see if the pics need to be rotated on the memory card, but all pics appear horizontal. So, not sure sure how to fix it.
Had it for 6 months and it just gave up started turning the screen green with bunches of ghost like figures cant even return it!!
just stared using it with our wedding pictures and it stopped working. just a messed up scree
