The aluratex digital frame is working so far.
This came in and is exactly what the description said. I like the ease of operation. Didn't take long before I could work it with ease and load on the pictures I wanted.
Overall good product with option to stand it on your desk or hang it on the wall. You should note that the USB table connection between the photo frame and the computer does not always work. Out of the few photo frames I purchased, some said the computer did not recognize the connected device. What I found the best way to work around this is to download the photos/videos to a USB drive, stick it to the frame, and copy them to the frame's local storage.
Pretty basic, was a good present for my elderly mom who doesn't understand electronics. I set it up for her so all she has to do is plug it in and it starts the slideshow. I showed her on the remote how to turn the volume up and down (I put a song on there to go with the pictures). It is pretty light plastic, feels like it might break easy. I wouldn't buy it for myself but it's good for those who just want to have pictures, nothing fancy.
We buy these for our customers; we load them with a video for them to display our product. They are very easy to load, but the calendar feature needs some improvement to the set up. Had to go scrolling through it several times to get the right dates, times, etc. Good buy for the price. Also, needed 10 of these but could only get 5 at a time, so there were 2 shipments. That's ok because of free shipping, but if had to pay shipping wouldn't have liked that.
It's color is way off looks like all the pictures are washed out. Not easy to navigate if you're not a tech type person.
Jet is great. This unit is not my fav. I have had others. This one takes work. I like 'idiot proof' no need to read directions kind of 'toys'. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Picture quality is good. Streaming is good. Controlling advance is difficult. Remote does not function well. It is also very difficult to remove the sdcard.
I have 3 Alurateks that are awesome but this one is horrible. The colors are so washed out. I even used a USB from one of the other ones and still dull color. I will return.
Bought this product was very excited. Photo resolution and color is horrible. FAQ on Aluratek's website is risky and unhelpful. The system's sample photos are an unrealistic comparison to the actual outcome. I honestly feel it was just an overall waste of time and money. Not Walmarts fault only the Aluratek Company.
