I love this quilt. I was working on a very tight budget when I bought this and was fully expecting it to fall apart just like every other comforter or quilt I ever bought that was cheap! It didn't at all. I've had this for years and have washed it nearly to death and the stitching has held perfectly. It looks great on my full size bed and I don't even need a bed skirt. Very happy with my choice.
I purchased my quilt set last Saturday, January 4, 2008 and I was very pleased with my purchase. I have a queen-sized bed and was a little concerned about the full/queen size as often this size will fit the full-size well but not the queen. In this case I was very pleased as it fits my bed nicely covering both the sides and the end of the top mattress. I will be purchasing the bedskirt that they picture with the quilt set to complete the look and cover the bottom mattress, but I really am happy with my purchase overall. I am a little anxious to see how the stitching holds up the first time that I wash it, but I am hoping for the best. Great look, great colors and a great price. Thank you Wal-mart
I bought this quilt because I wanted something lightweight for the summer. At the time it was on sale at a very reasonable price. I was not optimistic. Imagine my surprise when I found that it a wonderful quilt...the colors are beautiful and match my decor perfectly. It washes beautifully with absolutely no ironing needed. I have been using it all summer and into the fall. I love this quilt and highly recommend it to anyone.
I purchased this as I wanted a lighter quilt for summer. The weight is perfect !! The colors and design are very eye appealing. I question the durability of the workmanship - but I shall wash it when needed in the gentile cycle in my washer and I have a front load so that may help as well. The quality is not like those I have from JCPenny - but for the money I would buy it again.
I purchased the Amelia Quilt set recently and I Love It! I was looking for something to lighten my room up and I had found it. It fit my Queen bed perfectly and the matching shams fit like a glove. I would suggest that any Quilt lover would want this one. Thank You Maddshopper
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on redecorating my girls' room. Nor did I have the time to make them matching quilt sets. This is a cute, classic looking quilt set that's feminine without being over the top or obnoxious. It' color scheme is versatile and easy to match with other walmart bedding accessories.
Very simple quilt. Comfortable on bed(just ask my cats & dogs). The stitching is not too good-done for quantity, not for judging. I am pleased with the quilt. Feel that it is a good value for the price. I would recommend this for everyday usage- relax & enjoy. Looking forward to having my GGBabies on it.
While I love the appearance of the set and believe it to be a beautiful choice for my bedroom, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of workmanship on this quilt. The stitches are loosely sewn and several seams have come undone between the fabric patches on the top of the quilt. Once popped, it unravels quickly and it is difficult to repair - even with years of mending skill behind me. Had I not searched so long before finding a pattern I liked (two months at various stores), I would have returned this poor-quality cover within a couple weeks of purchasing it. I have made several repairs to the stitching in the short time I have owned it. I am, as stated, very disappointed.
From a very far distance this quilt is attractive, but you do not have to get very close to see that the quality is poor. The stitchings are very visible, and are all loose and crooked. I can see why it was so inexpensive, but I think if it is going to be this bad it should not even be sold. I was looking for something for my daughter's room which will last for a while, but I don't think this would have stayed together very long. I already put mine back in the packaging to be returned.
i purchased this set in the store and was disappointed that you only get 2 pillow shams in the set and can not find any more even sold seperatly, this looked bad on a kingsize bed. About 2 months into using it as a bedspread only and only washing it once all the seams started coming apart. It is very pretty though. i finally gave it to the goodwill.
