I'm a college student and one of my professors showed us a half-hour clip of this and it drew me in so much that I wanted to watch all 3 discs! I ordered it on blu-ray because the price was ridiculously cheap and I figured I may get it in good quality since I'll have it for years. When it shipped, my roommates made fun of me for buying it but after watching 10 minutes of the first episode with a few of them they were hooked too! Needless to say all 5 of them are hooked and one of them watched all the episodes before me. I love every episode because the History Channel did a fantastic job presenting them and I think they're quite informative. They don't go deep into too much detail on the historic events, it's more like good summary of each event, but I've definitely learned a lot from each episode. It was definitely worth buying and like I said, it's addicting to watch. For the excellent quality and presentation of so much history packed into 3 DVDs, $15 seems like a steal!

This Blu-ray has three disks that include all of the story from volume 1 through 6. You don't need to buy any DVD disk.It saves you money.
