[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to sample for cooking. This oven works just as well as my regular oven. It has several settings for cooking and is easy to use. I cook in it since receiving and love that it has a spill tray that catches all the food that spills.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a toaster oven before so this was the first time. This unit is so easy to use and the retro look is really nice. First the look of it. exterior of the unit is really cool and looks great sinning on the counter. It doe not look like just a toaster oven. The tree dials make it really easy to figure out how to set it and there is plenty of space inside for whatever you are cooking. My first time using it I just did a simple sandwich and it came out perfect. Toasted well and heated through. I can see this getting a lot more use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchen uses a grey/white color scheme and this toaster oven provides a great pop of color. Functionally, I really like how clear it is which heating elements are being used because that is what you're selecting with the middle knob. Top, bottom, or both. It is also nice being able to adjust the rack high, middle, or low depending on what type of cooking you're doing. My first test was toasting a slice of bread without preheating on the middle rack and it evenly toasted perfectly in just 2 minutes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the retro color and look of this toaster oven. Even my kids were wowed by the looks of it, and it is the inspiration for redoing my kitchen. Bakes, broils or toasts, with handy graphics on the glass door telling you where to place the rack for toasting, baking or broiling. It also comes with a tool to pull out the racks if they are hot. This works great and is roomy enough to make some good sized items in, but that means it does take up some counter space because it is quite large. Temp goes from keep warm temp at 200° to toast/broil temp of 475°. It has a timer that goes up to 60 minutes or an option for the oven to just stay on. The only thing I think would be a good addition would be a small hook on the side to store the rack removing tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an initial easy set-up, I was able to familiarize myself with the different functions and controls, enabling me to start experimenting with the toaster oven. The retro style is very appealing and it doesn't take up too much room in the kitchen which is surprising given the fact that so much is achievable with this one unit. The rack removal tool is a nice touch. I am always burning my hands when removing items from oven racks. Being able to bake and toast is very useful. I have already baked a tray of cookies which took about 15 minutes to cook on a 325 deg F setting. I have also tried one of the recipes in the supplied booklet which was something called Jamaican Chicken. This required using the Broil function and took approximately one hour and thirty minutes to cook. Obviously, I have also made toast. In fact, I use the toaster oven to make my toast every single morning, and I like being able to control the exact shade of my toasted bread using the adjustable toasting control and timer. You can toast six slices of brad at a time, but I haven't had to use that feature yet. I don't think I have ever owned a toaster oven before that allows you to bake a 12" pizza, but this one has the capacity to do so. I am impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this oven it is super easy to use and clean up a good thing about it is that it is portable since it's a mini oven one of the things i would have wanted it to have is like one more baking tray. I love how you can use the oven to like boil, toast, and bake. I loved using the oven to make chocolate chip cookies because i can adjust the amount of time for it to be on and it makes it easier for me. I also love how it comes with a tool to pull the tray out woth so we won't get burned. Im absolutely attached to this mini oven.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster oven performs well and has a great retro look. The time is old-school ticking with a ding when the cooking is finished. The settings are easy to turn and adjust without complicated setups or settings. Top and bottom heating elements toast well and it comes up to temperature quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Americana by Elite is a awesome retro toaster oven. I feel like it works better then my oven. It's easy to use and my kids can use the toaster oven. I love the little tray that comes with it. It's also easy to use and ckean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it is a little larger than I was expecting, it is absolutely perfect for a small frozen pizza! Biscuits are another story and are gonna take a few trial runs before I figure it out. But overall this is a great little oven; so much better than heating up the big oven for just a snack. I also love, love, love the retro look!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this toaster oven is retro, but its features and functionality are modern. The controls allow for baking, broiling, or toasting which has enabled me to cook a wide variety of foods without having to heat up my full size oven. I am most impressed with the rubber bumps on the back which protect the wall from making contact with the oven. Here are the pros and cons that I found: Pros: Stylish design Multiple cooking methods available Cooks evenly Spacious heating area Crumb tray and baking pan included Cons: The timer knob sticks at the 40 minute mark and also at the toast range The door sticks at the top left corner One word of advice ... as with any oven, this unit creates a great deal of smoke when you plug it in for the first time. So, I would suggest plugging it in outside.
