Great climber for under $100

Very sturdy stand so far! My first new climber in a number of years. This far exceeds my older ones, the stabilizer side straps are great. Easy to set up. I added additional padding on the front rail for a quieter gun rest. Can't beat it for a climber that is under a $100. Fits me well @ 5' 7" and 190lbs.

The climbing stand was a good product and it included a safety features dvd, and also a backpack strap for transporting the product. The price was right. It was purchased for a 16 year old and it met his needs; however, it is important to follow the safety features and always wear a strap when climbing tree.

LOVE this stand.....WELL made.....AND IMPROVED from the earlier versions of this same stand that I have....The "tree teeth" are wider which will help it with smaller trees.....

I bought this 4 years ago, and have had success with it. For under $80, it can't be beat. I would complain about the weight, but what the heck, go to the gym. It's safe as long as you use common sense. If you don't you shouldn't be hunting anyhow. I added padding to the shoulder straps, and I keep it tight and together with a ratchet strap while I hike with it.

I have multiple stands this one is as sturdy as my lone wolf and summit. U get wat u pay for. It's not going to be lightweight like the lone wolf. Or the comfort of the summit. But great throw around stand.

You must know how to use it. Make sure the tree you select is proper size, shape, & has good bark. Too big or too little and you'll have trouble. It's very strong. I'm over 300 and use it. It's heavy and not as quiet as the high end climbers. I've sat all day in mine and never worried about slipping. If you don't have lots of money, this climber is just what you need.

UNSAFE STAND

This tree stand is very dangerous and I would not recommend it to anyone. On the first and only hunt, I slipped down the tree three times before I finally gave up. As soon as pressure / weight is slightly removed off of the seat or foot platforms, they slide right down the tree. The biting teeth are too big and not sharp at all, therefore not digging into the tree. There are no teeth in the "V" / center of either platforms for about 4". The securing wrap-around cable is covered in hard plastic making it really slippery and providing no gripping action. One positive thing, however, the frame is well built and sturdy.
