I like this trimmer for two reasons (and they were the two reasons I bought it): 1) It has an adjustable trimmer. I love this feature because it eliminates the pain of multiple trimming pieces getting lost all the time. It also makes it easier because I don't have to sift through them each time to find the one that fits the trimming job I'm doing. 2) The second reason is because it runs on batteries. The other trimmer I had was nice but when it ran out of charge I had to plug it in and to get some charge back into it before it could be used again. (It wouldn't run just by plugging it in). It seems to cut fine but I haven't had a chance to give it a fair run to see just how well. But my hair stylist of many years says she loves it. JA
