I use it every time I'm in the car. I've had no problems.
My husband uses this to listen to his podcasts and music in the car. It works great and installs in a minute and works great with our car's speakers.
its awesome device you plug it in turn on your radio it matches your fm device station connect bluetooth and pandora radio and BAM loud great music for cruising around town.
I am soon to be 67 years old. This device was so simple to install and program. The gentleman behind the counter told me to be sure the FM channel that I used had no sound at all. I did that and texted my son to call me. He did and I could hear him clearly without any background noise. I am giving it a 4 star only because I just purchased it and haven't had any time to judge the performance on a timeline.
initially bought one that was less than 20 bucks but had too much static. I replaced it with this one and I'm satisfied. Technology is amazing
Buy the onn brand. Trust me this one is static infested. Never find a clear station . The onn brand is crystal clear
I've had something like this and it was recently stolen so I thought this would be a good alternative. It's not. I tried every station it suggested and it was mostly static no matter what I did. Definitely don't buy this for music.
When I first purchased the device, setting it up is very easy. You tune in to the station you want, connect your phone via Bluetooth, and you're all set. However, this device has EXTREME static, to the point where you hear your music very faintly, and the actual station music. Only useful item on the device is the USB charging port, and that's just being nice.
VERY disappointed! The transmission on this was worse than my $10 device that I had. Every single station I set it to had static. I hope this poor (more expensive, worthless device) is removed from the shelf at Walmart in order to not support low quality devices
This thing sucks so bad, no matter what I did I could not get a clear station, it even has an app with a “smart scan” feature to find a better channel, still i was bombarded by loud static and hissing and could barely hear my music. I thought if I got the pricier transmitter I'd possibly be able to get better sound, but oh boy was I wrong. I've bought a $15 one that had much better audio so I know it's not my car, plus it was 10x easier to set up. It also has a tracking feature to help find your car, they seemed to have put more effort into this feature then what it's actually supposed to be used for. Anytime you connect or disconnect it tracks you, and I noticed in my Bluetooth list It had me connected to something called blackweb, I don't know where it came from and it is not the name of this device but it did in fact spook me when I saw it so I deleted the app and removed the device from my car. The blackweb thing may have been from something else, but when I would go back to the Bluetooth list it would show my connected to something else for a moment and load to the actual device name, but it's not worth it what so ever.
