This Wild Proof speaker took a long time to pair with my phone. I turned on the bluetooth and was unable to find it as a device my phone could connect to for about a half hour. The speaker finally was found as an option and from that point on was very easy to set up. It is very heavy for a portable speaker and has a nice layer of plastic coating the outer edges. I used it mainly outside while working a fireworks tent and sat it on a few boxes. It was windy each day and the speaker didn't budge. It also had some grips at the bottom of the speaker to help keep it steady. The speaker was left inside the tent playing music as I took a break and I was still able to hear it clearly from 50 feet away. The buttons are easy to push and the sound was very clear at all volume levels. I used it over four hours and never had a problem with power. My phone was up to 30 feet away from the speaker at times out in the open tent and it never lost connection.
I love how compact but durable this speaker is, I can bring it any where I go. The sound is clear and amplified by the bass option. The volume is easily adjusted from the speaker or the device connected. The bass has an option to turn on or off. Connecting to Bluetooth was simple and only tool a moment to start playing music.
This speaker is awesome. I love that it is waterproof. I mainly use it in the bathroom during showers and don't have to worry about the steam affecting the speaker. The sound quality is great and can get very loud. The overall look of the speaker is very sleek and overall not too heavy. It was very simple to connect via bluetooth, I didn't even have to use the directions. Overall, I love this speaker and use it everyday!
Okay let me say that I did not expect this speaker to be as big as it was. For a Bluetooth speaker it is a really nice size! I would about the length of your forearm. The speaker is very user friendly, each button on top is pretty self explanatory. The sound is loud and clear. I am pleasantly surprised at how great the sound is and it works wonders with my workouts! I love it!
This speaker exceeded my expectations! the sound quality is out of control and I love the shape! This is a must buy if you have any desire to ever play your music outside of your home this is a MUST buy! I definitely recommend giving it a shot!
Can we say instant dance party!! Reading about this speaker gives it alot to live up to and so far it is holding up its end. The Anker SoundCore Icon+ Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker has a very robust sound. Even my musician and incredibly picky husband was impressed so we're off tons good start. It is very easy to set up and use with and without the app. I was expecting a little more bass for the bass boost but it is better than other speakers I have so I can't really complain or fault it. The sound isn't affected when you drop it and it does seem incredibly sturdy and durable. It is heavier than i was expecting. It's the equivalent to having a large bottle in your bag and seems like it would fit in more bottle holders on bags. We won't be going to the beach anytime soon unfortunately but I am super excited to bust it out and really test it's ability to "withstand the splashes, sand, and shocks of the wildest outdoor activities". Until we can get to the beach we've been using this hardly little speaker to jam out in the backyard and go on hikes. We are a music loving family that can bring our tunes anywhere. I love the 12hour battery life and that the app makes it clear and easy to see where the battery is. I love the 66 foot bluetooth range and 4 hour full charge time for 12 hrs of play time. We get some crazy rain out of no where I'm glad if we have to run inside and this gets left out it will still be ok. With an extreme kid around it's nice having something she can't break. We have 2.5 acres and can set this in the middle of the property and here it everywhere. And I mean everywhere!!
I am shook! The thing Beats the competition by far. The sound is crazy loyd and the right amount of bass without the annoying vibration! The look is also very cool. Sleek, simple design. I can't get enough of playing music with it! It charged rapidly out of the box an hour or so and it's Been perfect Since.
We've been using this speaker outdoors for a week now. It's gotten wet from kids splashing in the pool. I've accidentally left it out in the rain (briefly) and it still works without any issue! This is a quality speaker, not a cheaply made one. The casing is a thick rugged plastic that can take a hit without suffering damage. It connects easily to my phones Bluetooth as you would hope for so it's super easy set up. The buttons are self explanatory and have a rubbery coating over top of them. Easy to wipe down. The bass sounds really good. The sound quality is excellent. It's a tad on the heavy side and a little large but it's built well so I expected that. My ONLY complaint is that it could be louder. Although it's fairly loud and can be heard across our yard, I wish it was louder. Overall I would def recommend!! Charging time was quick. It has yet to die on us so I'd have to say the battery like is great. Comes with charging cord but not a wall adapter. Hopefully you have one sitting around.
I really like this speaker. The sound is good - the battery life is good and it's supposed to be very durable. Bluetooth pairing was flawless and there is a bass boost option. There are no cons that I can see at this point.
This seems like a really good device, but I got it out of the box, started charging and it has been charging for 4 days in a row and it has never turned on. We tried turn on as it says on the user manual but never worked.
