I have to say when I bought the bike I was fairly skeptical; However my thoughts soon changed when I got it home. The overall handling and dexterity of the bike is phenomenal. It truly is the best bike I have ever bought.
My son loves this bike. Compared to what some of the other wooden balance bikes cost this is a great choice! We did break the handle bar covers off right away but nothing a little gorilla glue couldn't fix and does not affect how the bike rides. It isn't the quality of a german made balance bike but for $79 who cares. Those bikes are $300! My son has amazed me on this bike. He got it when he turned 3 and is still riding it over a year later. Highly recommend.
The bike seems really sturdy, constructed of heavy duty wood and materials. My only complaint is that the screws for the handlebars do not fit into the pre-drilled pilot holes. So, after two days of trying to force the screws in, I've given up and am going to resort to the hardware store for some smaller replacement screws. Definitely inconvenient.
The product was falling apart from the moment we took it out of the box! The handle bars and end caps were broken off and needed to be re-glued to the bike. The tire was dry rotted and popped in the first 2 minutes of my son riding it. It ended up costing us more $ for the item when you tack on the cost of a new tire and a tube of liquid nails. If my 3 yr old son wasn't so very much in love with his "motorcycle bike" I would have returned the product.
