to my surprise, this food reversed my fish's fin rot. also, good cause i didn't have to medicate my whole fish tank.
My fish had a red belly, and white spots on there body for about 1 - 2 weeks. I tryed everything but nothing worked, until I bought . . . Anti-Bacteria Medicated Fish Food. They were not active they stayed on the botton of the tank and almost didn't eat. when they ate the first batch of the medication they were okish. About 3 days later they were extreamly healthy and active again. It took about 7 days before i stopped feeding them the food but it saved there life. I did loose 5 fish but that was before i bought this product. If this doesn't work then they were ment to die.
When your fish gets sick, it's a good idea to look up the symptoms. It's possible that the previous reviewer was using this to treat something that needed more to treat. My fish had finrot. It spread to his body. I treated the water by changing it and monitoring the quality. I also added fungus clear to the water, but the finrot made an ulcer on my fish. It was very red and looked very painful. I thought he would die for sure. I bought the anti-bacterial fish food as a last attempt to save my fish. Since he was still eating, he ate the food, and it saved his life. Actually, the food comes in tiny morsels. So I read that often people don't feed enough to the fish. My fish ate quite a bit of this food and didn't get constipated. That's really good. I have since used this food to treat my fish along with the other measures that are needed based on the specific illness. When my fish are injured I use this food along with Melafix, and it's always good to make sure the water quality is up to par. This may require frequent water changes. Never take out the carbon filter, even if it says to on the medicine directions. Simply add more the next day.
Don't waste your money on this .....your fish will not eat it and even if they do..they will split it out. This also goes for the Parasite food made by Jungle.
this product dose not work i have been using it for 2 weeks and it says it works with in 5-10 days and my betta fish still is sick VERY sick now that i hve waisted my time with this product!!! DONT BUY IT!!!!
