APC is the one brand that I trust when it comes to Battery Backups. I have been using them for more than 40 years personally and professionally.
I live somewhere that has lots of storms and potential for power outages. This bank is perfect to run my Eufy system and wifi router off of for extended connectivity. This is perfect for storm season, when my power goes down I still have time to utilize the wifi to watch the local news to get storm updates
Did it's job in giving me enough time to worn my job that my power had gone out. I had read the review from a gentleman that said it did not start sounding until after five minutes. By the five minute mark I was able to worn my job I had lost my power and safely get my work computer shut down. This is only good for five minutes, but well worth it if you are a work from home like me. If you want something that gives you a long time though you will need to go somewhere else for that.
Works as intended, I use it to power a reclining sofa that my mother uses in case there is an power failure, she won't be stuck in the sleeping position.
Excellent power intermediary for that heart-stopping gap bewteen the time the power goes out until your generator kicks in: Eliminates loss of continuity in Wifi and internet when applied to routers. Also good for CPAP's to keep that breathless wakefulness when power fails in the middle of the night!
These are necessary for your internet router/modem to eliminate any down time during temporary power outages. If you are working from home this will keep you online and in whatever virtual meeting you are having even when the power goes out. APC is the best name in back up power surge protectors. I included the chart that shows how long the battery will last under different loads.
It was easy to set up and after 24 hours, I pulled the power cord out of the wall and my computer and monitor didn't skip a beat. That's what I was going for. Interestingly, there's a tropical storm as I write this, and the power just went off for a couple of seconds and I'm still here, I'm still writing. Works the way it should.
Power hits are starting to be more frequent, definitely its time to have gotten one. Able to supply my modem, phone and WIFI router with backup power for the next outage. Only downside I didn't gather from the description was that the battery is not user replaceable which would have lessen my costs when this items end of life was up.
I work from home. I purchased this to keep my computer and monitors going in the event of a power outage. The first time I used it on a full battery it ran my monitor and my laptop for about 15 minutes before it started beeping and shut down completely. Worthless junk. This is the second one of these I purchased. The first one worked OK initially, but the battery died after about three months and never worked again. Junk! Don't waste your time or money!!
I got tired of our electricity flashing off and on while I was on our computer and creating problems so bought this to plug our router,PC,monitor and speakers into. When the power went off for more than 30 minutes it started flashing green for about 5 minutes and then made a beeping noise along with 2 green flashes for maybe 10 minutes more before built in batteries went out completly going. I guess it was good to give you time to shut down compter but only about 15 minutes of power? I thought I'd get around 2-3 hours out of it.
