The iPhone 14 Pro is a great phone! If you look at the specs, it's actually a better phone than the iPhone 15. This is why Apple is no longer selling this phone from their website (they don't want to cannibalize the 15 sales). With the $400 Walmart credit, the purchase is a no brainer… I just received my iPhone and I'm still waiting for Walmart to send me the credit.

The Apple 14 Pro boasts the much-hyped Dynamic Island, updated cameras, the A16 Bionic processor, and a new deep purple color. Unfortunately, the deep purple color didn't impress me much due to its dark shade. While the iPhone 14 Pro showcases Apple's camera prowess, the megapixel count falls short compared to competitors like Samsung or Google. Capturing individual faces in dark mode proved challenging. It would be beneficial for Apple to improve the megapixel count rather than relying on users to edit their photos. Additionally, although the battery life is better than the iPhone 13, there is room for further improvement. The emergency satellite connectivity system is a notable feature, especially for hikers, providing peace of mind in areas without cellular services. However, it's evident that Apple could enhance the camera capabilities.
I think every time I upgrade , I'm so used to the old version that it takes me a while to get used to the new one. However, the phone is okay. So far so good. It does lag a bit when I'm listening to music or sending a text or being my emails. I don't know what that's about.
The battery lasts significantly longer than my old SE. The pictures do not seem to have a noticeable improvement, however. It has taken time to switch over from the finger to face recognition.
Very heavy, it's a pain if you have sunglasses or a hat on to get it open without facial recognition (difficult to get keypad to come up instead for password). I like the smallish size and the camera is excellent. I feel like apple needs to work on the weight and get it as light as an SE.
