After trying a couple of cheaper knockoffs that didn't work, I decided getting the genuine Apple product would be worth the expense. It was worth it!

Works good for a little while then has problems. Definitely better than the non Apple products.
I had ordered an apple lightning to hdmi adapter and did the curbside pickup so I didn't have to go in and look for the item. I didn't open my bag until I got to school and the box I received was already opened and obviously very used and worned. The cable has crinkles and dirt/grime on what is supposed to be a white new adapter. Even the lightning plug has black discoloration. I'm highly upset Walmart would sell this like that. I will be returning it.
Bought this to play downloaded movies on tv when we don't have internet. All of the streaming apps have now blocked the ability to do this. You can only play content to the tv when it is streaming on WiFi or cellular which is ABSOLUTELY STUPID. Funny enough if you have content you ****found on the internet and downloaded wink wink** it plays with the adapter no problem. So this is in no way shape or form hurting people who pirate content just people who pay for it….cool cool cool. Tried this with hbo, Netflix, Disney paramount. They all block the functionality
