the refurbished mac i received was pretty okay. the scratches were very minor, most of them were on the bottom, but no one is looking at that. the only thing i didn't like was that the mac came with software problems, such as i couldn't access any apps, download any apps, or open any apps. it kept crashing and quitting unexpectedly. the settings were also tripping because i couldn't access certain accessibilities in the settings. i tried to call the company about it, but their only answer was “you can return it for a refund or get a replacement”, which was totally out of option because i needed a laptop immediately. but the way i fixed the software problem was going to the genius bar at the apple store and it was completely free of charge. really, it depends on the problem your mac came with and fortunately my problem was super minor and it ended up being zero dollars. usually the genius bar doesn't charge anyways. but if you don't have apple care, it would still be fine. overall, my mac works great. my battery lasts a long time, it's super fast, and it works like a charm. it's great for college. it also came with a charger too.
No indications the item is charging, will not come on.
