I was a bit leery (sp?) of buying a "reconditioned" iPad. It came in all original packaging with cable and charger still in the shrink wrap. Absolutely no sign of use anywhere on the iPad or box. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars on Value is because Apple in general is about 30% overpriced. I only bought an apple because we have an app at work that I need to use and it is only available in iOS for now.
I was nervous to buy a refurbished IPad, but you would never know it was refurbished!!! There is not a scratch or fingerprint on it! It has worked perfectly and my family fight over it!! A charge last a very long time, but it does take a while to charge completely. This is normal for all IPad 3, just how apple made it: we researched it. Buy refurbished, it is just like new! We were able to get a larger storage capacity because we bought refurbished. So awesome! Don't be scared to buy refurbished!
Seems as if it was brand new from Apple! I have already recommended this to two friends.

Pretty good. But a little on the slow side.
The iPad arrived very well packaged. It had the original box, cord and power supply. The white cord was dirty looking. As I own other Apple products (iPhone, iPad-Gen 1, iPod) not a deal breaker, but still if it can't be cleaned it should just be replaced. The power cube and actual iPad were clean. I did notice some very minor scratches on the glass of the iPad, but I cannot see them once I put on a screen protector. I guess replacing the glass was not part of the refurbishing process. Everything else works just fine so far and much better than my original iPad. Not mentioned in the ad on the web site was that it only comes with a 90 day guarantee as oppose to some other refurbished items I have bought that came with a full guarantee from other retailers.
I bought this for my 3yr old thinking i could download things, but can't download one thing. Nothing is compatible with this generation. Smh disappointed!
