This was the perfect compromise, for my nine-year-old who wanted to watch, also a phone, and I needed to get a hold of him when he is at sports or a friends house. Love that it has GPS tracking and he has his own number which can stay with him forever. Not to mention I'm in control of who he can and cannot call.
Exactly what I was expecting if not better. I was never interested in watch but it was a must that I got one for work. I am so glad i choose this one.
Great price. I don't know what series it is. I believe 6 from the manual. I love that I can answer calls when my phone is not near me. For an extra $10 a month on your mobile plan, you can get the cellular feature to answer calls when your phone is not around. First 3 months are free. Love this watch. I have 42 mm watch bands and they fit in this 40 mm watch. A little overhang, but not obvious. Get it before the price goes up!
This is my first Apple Watch and I got it because I am older and it is for the fall detection and gps so my daughter can make sure I am safe. Not used to wearing a watch but it does not bother me
I previously owned a Fitbit and loved it. But after 2 years it fell apart on me. So I decided to go with the Apple Watch. I love it. IT's everything a Fitbit has an more.
This is a very good deal at a good price. I chose the SE that supports a separate link to the operator's data network function for my children to use. He loves it! Make good use of siri, which can help you make calls, send messages and open some apps very conveniently. A plan to link to a carrier's network alone can be paid annually for $99 a year.
Would've given it 5 stars but battery was drained. Took a while until it came on; had some hiccups with the software download itself. I had to download it twice. The first time got disconnected idk God knows why.. the 2nd time took hours... yadee yadaa. Day 1 using it, activity app was not responding, so was calculator, watch face cant be changed.. %26 few more. Had to unpair it %26 restarted the whole entire set up process all over again. After that, it worked like normal. Batt life: I charge it at the end of the day. Haven't had any issues so far yet.
I ordered an Apple Watch SE (Gen-1). The delivery guy (Indian/Asian male) dropped off the package and left next to statue close to my front door. As I say him on my security cameras pull up, I went to my front door to receive the delivery. The guy stood their typing on his cell phone. I picked up the package and asked if he needed a pic of it for delivery purposes. He tells me that he already has the pic. However, from the pic shown, he took the pic after I receive the package and not before. He left and within less than a minute he was gone. I noticed the package had been opened enough to remove the item from it and replace it back. The only secure information on the item is the IMEI, S/N, make and model which allows for network connection. This is a serious breach of privacy and possible use for identity theft. Not sure if I will return the item as of yet: still thinking about it. Overall, the item looks nice. I've charged it and will be connecting it to my new iPhone once it arrives.
I've only had it a few days and I'm still learning what it can do. I had a Fitbit before but it stopped working so I figured it was time to get the watch since I switched from android to Apple last year. There are something's about the Fitbit I liked that I don't see on this watch but there are other things on the watch that the Fitbit couldn't do. So I'm sure I will decide it was a great choice.
Ordered for 40mm aluminum case with blue strap for my kiddo. Received it and one side strap(Small size) is in black. Battery in complete drained state. 😏 . Hope it will boot up 🤞and battery lasts longer
