[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not normally a Turkey breast fan, I'm kind of a picky eater. However I would purchase this product again and again. Applegate Organics really out did themselves with this one. The turkey breast is great on a sandwich of course, but it's just as good alone or with crackers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the organic Applegate Herb Turkey Breast. I liked the combination to create the herbs which is rosemary, parsley, pepper, and thyme. It was very flavorful and the Turkey was a good thickness which made the sandwich very delicious. Would highly recommend especially since it is unique and stands out from other flavored sliced turkeys I have consumed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Applegate Organics® Herb Turkey Breast, in exchange for a unbiased review of the product. This tastes just like it would, if you had the time to make it yourself. Because it is organic, you know that it is good for the family. Tastes great, and the herb flavor is not over powering. Makes a great addition to the Applegate Organics product line.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Applegate Turkey Breast. I typically do not pack my lunch for going into work, but since I did receive this package, I thought I would make it into sandwiches for my work lunches. I made turkey sandwiches on sourdough break with mustard and lettuce. The turkey was excellent. I thought it was flavorful and moist. It stayed moist on the sandwich. I liked the thinness of the slices too. Making the lunches was very convenient using the deli meat. The only thing I would change about it is the sodium content, but that is pretty high for all deli meat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deli meats can be hit or miss for me due to preservatives, nitrites/nitrates, MSG, and high levels of sodium. Thankfully Applegate has such wonderful products that tick all the boxes. Unlike other sliced deli meats, you can tell these are made with higher quality ingredients, have a good texture, and a lovely flavor that pairs with a variety of breads, cheeses, condiments, and other ingredients. Could even use them to make deli roll-ups or pinwheels. So glad to have these at the local grocery store!
In the past, the only time I ate turkey was at Thanksgiving. I just don't care for it. Usually it's dry and tasteless. BUT the Applegate Farms Organic Herb Turkey Breast has completely changed my mind. It is absolutely delicious and I take it for lunch just about every single day. Pair it with a sourdough bread and a little mayo (or whatever you prefer) and you'll understand why I gave it 5 out of 5 stars! By FAR the best turkey sandwich meat I have ever tasted!
So happy to find MULTIPLE whole30 compliant sandwich meats. They aren't a daily thing for us, but if I'm being honest - my husband has woken up for work at 5am and i forgot to prep his lunch! (I'm the official lunch prepper, haha) and adding a couple of slices onto a romaine leaf with chopped tomatoes and homemade mayo is perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a free sample. Much better than the regular, cheaper brands I buy. You really do get higher quality with Applegate. The price is more than I usually spend but now having tasted their awesome product, I will be trying other items in their assortment. Would recommend based on taste and high quality ingredients. Worth it!
This was my go to turkey breast because deli meats with preservatives really messed up my skin. This was the only processed meat that I would eat for the last eight years or so. Just recently, the Herb Turkey Breast has changed. It use to have herbs throughout but now herbs are just around the perimeter. The turkey won't come out of the package without falling apart. I can live with that because it's not wet and slippery like before. (I use to dry it with a paper towel.) I feel the flavor has been compromised; it does not have enough herbs. It feels like I'm eating an entirely different product. Not in love anymore.
I work in a cafe/deli/grocery store where we used to get the herb turkey in a loaf, albeit not the organic version, to slice by the pound. Besides the smoked turkey, it was the only applegate cold cut I would eat. So delicious, not too moist, very peppery and full of flavor. The presliced organic herb turkey, however, reminds me of why I usually avoid cold cuts. It's really wet (ewwww!), not as peppery, and too thin and mushy!! I'll probably see if I can get a refund! I do really recommend the non organic herb turkey if you can find it in a deli freshly sliced, unless they've changed up the recipe since I had it last.
