Simple design. Nice for small aquariums
Can't complain it's lower than in store which is reason I purchased online. Going to make it easier for tank maintenance
works well, easy to use and to set up.
I have two of these gang valves as well as a topfin gang valve; these gang valves would appear to be a ball valve while the topfin is a simple screw type gang valve, there are pros and cons to both types. I like this valve because it works, it's cheap, and being (what I suspect) a ball valve it has "stops" from on and off and provides uninhibited air flow when "wide open;" unlike the topfin which always leaves a little bit of the screw in the path of the air unless you literally remove it (there is nothing to stop this.) I don't like this valve because one of them came out of the box with a loose plug on the third position that I do not utilize, this is not really an issue as I have slipped a small section of air line over it to hold it in place, but it could indicate poor manufacturing; the topfin doesn't even give you the third connection so, still, not bad. The oldest valve is the one with the air line "hack" it has been in constant operation for 5 mo
It's ok made but not what I was hoping for
Doesn't really hold the hoses but works fine
I bought this item because i only had one airline tube to my bubble stone and needed another airline for my undergravel filter. Needless to say this barely works. my undergravel filter needed 2 airlines and i needed 1 for my bubble stone. i tried to hook all of them up to this valve and 1 would work at a time. i would turn the nozzles on the valve to try and adjust it but then the air line that was working would shut off and a new one would work. needless to say this product is terrible. definitly not worth the price. the only thing that i can get to work off of it is one side of my undergravel filter. this is a pathetic product.
When I hooked this up to a reasonably good pump and two small air stones, almost no air came out of the stones. Only after jiggling the valves did I realize that most of the air was leaking out through the threaded part of the valves. I was too lazy to take them back so I went into my tool chest and found some plumbers Pro-Dope. It's the goopy stuff you put on threaded copper pipe joints to help keep the seal. I put some on the valve threads and screwed them back in. Problem solved and no more air leaked past the threads. Both air stones are now bubbling vigorously, but this isn't something you should have to do. Very poor quality.
I bought this valve 2 weeks ago, and within 3 days returned it for exchange. The second one has lasted a little over a week, and is now bad also. It seems that they both developed an internal valve leak. Bubble decor became weak, then quit all together; Would never use again.
The plug at the end does not stay in place and to get the airflow to go through is a pain
