works great but gets hot with 100 watt bulb
Bought this after my last light exploded and got stuck in the lamp (note to reptile owners, move your light away from the tank's screens before you mist for humidity), and it's PERFECT. I needed to lower the temp of the light (reduce the humidity issue) and this was the perfect lamp to get on short notice. Was skeptical buying from somewhere other than a pet store, but I've had the this for more than a month now and I've had zero issues.
Got it for a baby turtle. Like that it's metal so I'm not worried about melting plastic and the on/off switch is an added bonus.
