Easy to put on, works great!
1st order got lost or something but sent out replacement order for me asap after I called them. Thank you
Ive used this type of pool paint in the past - acrylic water based - but the brand was Ramuc AquaLuster. The InTheSwim house brand appears to be the same paint, but less expensive. Goes on easily, or as easy as painting a pool can be. But time will tell how long it will Last. I usually got 3+ years with Ramuc.
We are a 250,000-gallon private swim club in Virginia. The pool is 55 years old this year and we are trying to do all we can to avoid a complete replacement of the gunnite. The members try to do our own work. Two years ago, we did the shallow end with a high end 2 part epoxy. It was a complete nightmare. the epoxy was setting up before we could get it applied and the rollers were sticking to the surface. This year we decided to try Aqua Coat Water Based Acrylic Paint. WOW what a difference! Extremely easy to work with and to apply. Followed instructions for pre application cleaning and it looks great. We did 2300 square feet with two coats with 14 gallons I would also like to mention the excellent packaging. Each gallon was individually boxed and was in a very sturdy can, unlike the previous manufacturer that packaged 2 gallons to a box and used flimsy cans which resulted in leaking during shipment. Of course, the delivery guy put the leaking boxes on the sidewalk and got paint all over it. We are very pleased with not only the product, but with In The Swim and Leslie's as a whole, we order many of our supplies from them.
Show up on time and worked like it said.
love this product. I ran out and tried a cheaper product to finish my pool. the other brand is bubbling a week after pool filled.
I used product 4 years ago, and need to repeat this year. I believe it worked well. This is used on the shallow end with white sand to prevent slipping.
The paint was not dark blue. It was medium blue at the most. I called customer service who told me to go ahead and paint and color will darken when it dries. It did not darken.
Dark blue is not. Rather, it is like a light fluorescent baby blue Company would not accept return or refund. buyer beware
I purchased 6 gallons of your blue pool paint and I only needed 3 to do the job--and when I called to return it I was advised that the paint is considered "hazardous" and can not be returned. What a cop out! It was "hazardous" when you sent it to me--what difference if I return it in the same tightly sealed boxes you sent it to me? The reason I overordered is that I had painted my pool before--using your paint--about 5 years ago and I used 5 1/2 gallons then--so I guess the pool still had a lot of that paint left on and that's the reason why it only need 3 gallons this time. I do NOT recall anyone saying the paint was non-refundable when I ordered it.
