This is a great little product for taking care of dry lips. No odor, no taste. Works well to keep lips from drying effects of weather. Vwry pleased with this lip repair ointment.
My lips were extremely dry in the mornings after using my Cpap. I'm a mouth breather too. I had tried couple other brands till this was recommended. It's great!! Highly recommend you to try it too.
My dermatologist clued me in to the use of Aquaphor for chapped lips. Like me. she had tried many "- sticks" for chapped lips. It almost seemed as if the more often you applied them, the more you needed to. I had a stick on my nightstand, a stick in my glove compartment, one in each purse, in my travel bag, ....and on and on. I gave the sample tube of Aquaphor she handed me a try and I've been "sold" ever since! I only need to apply twice a day and the results are amazing! My lips look and feel great - shiny, soft, and without the waxy feel the sticks gave. My only complaint - I'm having trouble finding Aquaphor in the purse and travel bag friendly .35 oz size! I wish that my neighborhood stores were as clued into Aquaphor for lips as I am. You can be sure that I'll be making requests at their customer service desks!
My lips were dry and cracked due to being sick. None of my usual items were healing my lips. They literally hurt. I read several reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Not only did Wal-Mart deliver same day, within a few hours, but the price is good and it worked!!! My lips literally felt better within the hour i applied it and they were healed fully within 3 days...as in 72 hours. FULLY HEALED!!!
Stick moisturizers were not working in the extreme dryness of winter but this product works! I was reapplying stick moisturizer constantly during the day and waking up with painfully dry lips. Not anymore thanks to this product!
I like this product because it doesn't leave a taste on your lips and it's not scented. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long on your lips and tends to dissolve quicker than other brands that I have.
My items were less than ten. I brought the two bags into the house. One bag had a big hole in it, so, I did not get one of my items, as it was small….probably in the driver's car.
I like this lip balm as a back up. I was hoping I would love it and replace my qtica lip balm but this one just doesnt match up. It doesnt last as long as my other kind.
Warning: Aquaphor lip repair has different ingredients than the original Aquaphor healing ointment. One of the things I like about using Aquaphor on my lips is that there is no taste. I immediately tasted the beeswax and another unidentifiable chemical taste when I used the lip repair. Secondly, one of the selling points of Aquaphor healing ointment is that it only has 7 ingredients. I counted 24 ingredients on the lip repair. I went back to the healing ointment. Want a solution to these complaints, Aquaphor? (As I've been reading others' feedback) Distribute the healing ointment in a container for lips, in which I don't have to use my finger to apply.
I have been using regular Aquaphor on my lips for years and it's the only thing that doesn't make my lips chapped. All other chapsticks dry out my lips as soon as I stop using them, causing me to become dependent on them. I was so excited when Aquaphor came out with a lip ointment that is small and fits conveniently in my purse. I bought 4 of them! I have been so disappointed though... They must have changed the ingredients because it is not the same as the original ointment! The lip balm has actually made my lips remarkably more chapped every time I use it. The only thing I can figure out is that it must not be the same as the original Aquaphor ointment that has NEVER done that to my lips before. I really wish they would have kept the same formula for the lip repair as they have for their original ointment. Very disappointing.
