This is the best lip moisturizer I have found. I have used it since it came on the market.
First time trying the lip repair. I use the healing ointment advanced therapy for my face and it's great! I purchased this one because of the SPF... Didn't expect such a strong taste! I'm going to continue using it because I don't like wasting money and it feels good on my lips, but definitely going for the original next time.
I use the original Aquaphor product for my lips due to the fact every time I step in to the sun my lips get sunburnt. So I was happy to see they started a new product with sunscreen BUT the taste is horrible!
Same as everyone else... the taste. I wish I read the reviews before I purchased, my fault.
I use the regular AP on my lips on a daily basis, and thought it was great that it came out in a SPF 30 version, however , it's consistency is too watery compared to the regular formula and doesn't stay on the lips for long...especially when exercising or at the pool or beach or just spending some time outside. I think it would be great if a version could be made that is still in a ointment type formula (vs a harder lip balm) , soothes the lip as the original version does, but is also water or perspiration resistant so you don't have to reapply every 15 minutes. Also, why does the SPF 30 only come in the smallest .35 ounce version and is SO expensive? It would be great if it was available in the 3 oz and more reasonably priced. To clarify - my regular AP has more substance to it and stays on my lips when exercising for an acceptable period of time (about 30+ minutes) , but the SPF 30 version's consistency is more on the watery side and only lasts a short period of time. And lastly, to truly protect the lips from the sun, please consider a SPF 40 or 50.
I use Aquaphor products daily, and the healing ointment is the best product on the market for dry, cracked or irritated skin. Recently I purchased the lip treatment + sunscreen and I do not like it at all. It tastes bitter and is extremely runny. If I could return it for a refund, I certainly would. I thought you appreciate feedback whether good or bad. Please keep the original lip ointment on the market.

The product is not at all up to aquaphor standards. I absolutely love the consistency of the moisturizing original product and expected this lip treatment to have the same consistency and lack of flavor. This product claims to be flavorless and it is not; in fact it tastes horrible. I bought two and only opened one and intend to return the second as soon as I can. It tastes like sunscreen was sprayed in your mouth every time I put it on. Please fix the flavor & make it like the original!
I bought this product and LOVE the original but, I really need the SPF. My problem is the same as everyone else. The taste is bad and makes me sick.
