This product is very helpful using it on older "lower" commodes and especially for Seniors with any aliments ... bad knnes or arthritic conditions. Easy on ... easy off and very securely attached to the commode.
My patient has a hard time lifting himself up from any low surface, this seat was so easy to install, and works great!
Light weight, easy to install, and just generally makes my life easier!
After struggling to remove the existing toilet seat, we found that this seat riser would not fit snuggly in the elongated toilet - much too loose to be safe for my 96 year old father. We took it back and exchanged it at Walmart for their 2 piece seat that fits beautifully and really raises the height of the seat! I would rate the one we have now as an A+ - easier to install and will be much easier to clean! It is higher than the other one and looks better (you can't see the screws and it fits smoothly against the toilet).
I'm 5'5" and have MS. I thought this product was nice until my Son had to use it. It is not made for men. I won't go into details.........but the front of the seat has limited space. Had to return it.
