This windshield mount has no problem staying on the windshield, through every bump and vibration, the suction cup does its duty. But there is one flaw with this item that I'm sure you would have to expect from a mount that has a long gooseneck extension. The mount has an extreme amount of lateral (side-to-side) movement if the tablet or whatever is placed inside the grips. Whatever you decide to place inside the grips must rest against the dashboard or something that will prevent the annoying side-to-side movement while you're driving. So for example if you have GPS software installed on your tablet and use this grip in your vehicle, it will be very difficult to look at with the swaying motion. The tablet I own (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2), has enough weight on the unit to cause this to happen and I have to rest it against the top of my dashboard to minimize the movement. It would be best to go with a mount that has a short neck and use the dashboard mount pad for this type of tablet. Overall, I would not disappoint anyone from buying this product if they have something lighter that will be placed inside the grips. Again, it's good for that long driver-to-windshield reach, but make sure if you place something inside the grips that will have a significant amount of weight for an electronic unit whether it be a GPS or Tablet, be prepared to situate the unit where it will be visible and not sway back and forth.
