OMG! This is by far the best smelling laundry detergent ever and is my favorite and the only smell I buy.....but I am about to be purchasing an HE washer so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make an HE compatible one! I'm seriously putting off getting a new washer over this!
I just bought an HE washing machine and was extremely disappointed to find that I have to give up the ONLY detergent I ever buy. I have been using the oxi clean fresh scent for years, it does a great job cleaning and I love the scent! Please make it HE compatible!!!
I absolutely love this laundry detergent. The smell is a crisp clean smell. We use the liquid in our carpet shampooer as well to make the carpets smell good. I wish they made some dryer sheets and fabric softener as well.
I love the scent of the oxi clean Arm & Hammer, and used a box despite it not being HE - which is not great for my machine. PLEASE make the powdered form HE compatible!!!
I live in the country area where the well water is extremely hard. This is the only product that is able to really clean my laundry. I highly recommend Arm&Hammer with Oxy-clean. Thanks.
It's been a long time since I've used powder detergent. I have been using dissolving laundry sheets but found myself needing stronger detergent. Arm & Hammer powder detergent cleans well and is a pretty good buy. The container's instructions, however, are absolutely pointless. I'm all for ditching plastic where possible, but if you're not including the plastic scoop anymore or even a paperboard scoop as a replacement, why are the measuring instructions only for the scoop. For anyone looking, the standard American imperial measurement is 1/2 cup for medium loads, 1 cup for large or filthy laundry loads. If this was a fluke and measuring scoops are usually provided, I shouldn't have to go hunting through the general FAQ for the entire A&H product family to find the measurements in standard measuring units. It isn't as though people have never lost or broke the provided measuring scoops before. A small footnote of the imperial measurements on each box wouldn't be that much of a dent in profit.
I've always been a fan of Arm &Hammer, mostly because of the value with having 4 boys that was probably the top reason and also my mom alwYs used arm and hammer so it was a name I could trust. I personally like the powder because I think it seems to get out some of the tougher stains although I have not had 2 same stains and used liquid on one powder on the other i simply am going by my experience. I've used a&h liquid (only because powder is harder to find) and it smells great but i prefer powder. Now lastly, I am thrilled to death they partnered up with oxi clean, absolutely LOVE the combo to get out some of the toughest stains, I recommend soaking overnite for the reAlly tough stains but first make a paste and rub GENTLY into the stain run under the hottest wAter the fabric can handle without ruining it and repeat until stain is gone, I consider my self as a "laundry queen" i pretreat everything, soak the tough stains and to this day my adult boys will bring me their toughest stains like grease from work, from mudding or even the mustard that dried on their nice white shirt. My Tip* Always rub the stains out of the fabrics GENTLY . Big lesson leArned.
I have been using Arm & Hammer detergent for years but, this is my first review. This detergent leaves my clothes really cleans and smelling fresh. It is definitely my preferred detergent. Thank you for a great product that is reasonly priced. p.s. I started buying this detergent because I trust the Arm & Hammer brand which I had been using since childhood.
I've used Arm & Hammer powdered detergent for many years. (I'm especially partial to the unscented variety but this one is ok too.) I just got an HE washing machine and was disappointed to find that only 1 variety of A&H powdered detergent is HE compatible - the tropical scent, which is too ...um...scenty in my opinion. Please add more HE compatible powdered detergents!
My father is 85 and loves Arm & Hammer. However, the 9.56 pound box doesn't have a pull-tab perforation strip which is easy to open. It was glued-in to the box. I watched him struggle with a pocket knife to open this box. Is this necessary ? PLEASE FIX THIS . . . .
