I received these Armor All wax wipes from Spark to review, I waited till we had a break in the rain and took my car thru the car wash then home to wax. I used 3 wipes for a 1999 Ford Escort. I think they did a pretty good job and it was a lot less work and hassle then traditional waxing. I noticed it really helped to keep the pollen from sticking to my car. Before waxing my car was green from the pollen! The wipes also left a nice shine. Over all I really like this product. Its not the same as traditional waxing but it is a lot faster and a lot easier. The whole process only took me about a hour. If your someone like me that doesn't want to spend the entire day to wax and buff these are great and you will like them. The wipes are super easy to use. Just take one out and wipe and toss it in the trash when your done. I used them about a week ago and we have had lots of rain and I can still see a shine on my car. The package has 12 wipes so for a small-mid size car you can wax it 3-4 times so it is economical too.
I received Armor All Ultra Shine Wax Wipes from the Spark Reviewer program couples days ago. I'm really excited to try this product, my car is Nissan Sentra 2016 and since its rainy season this products is indeed need at this time. It was recommended for best result clean the vehicle paint before applying this ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wax Wipes. I applied all 12 counts wipes the next day, there was really a remarkable shine on my car right away and it was so easy to apply. The easy application part is true, it was really fast 1-step waxing, just open the pouch, pull a wipe and apply across vehicle paint. “Done!” It has nice scent too that lingers to my hand afterwards just make sure give extra care when using this product because this product is eye irritant. It saves a lot of my time compared to last waxing I have used which I need to pour the liquid from the bottle to the applicator pads and even the wax on my car, like I have to do it over and over again. As of today after a week it was still good as newly wax, dust and water resistant. I highly recommend this product to all who wants to save time, effort on quality ultra shine wax wipes.
I was cautious about the Armor All Ultra Shine Wax Wipes, 12-ct, Auto Wax. How can a wipe in a package work like traditional wax? How can the wipes stay moist in a bag. We all have used some form of a wipe from a resealable pouch and half way through they are all dried out because the resealable flap gave out. I have a 2011 Honda Pilot and I was able to do the whole car with just two Armor All Ultra Shine Wax Wipes. I do recommend you do this in your garage or in the shade as the heat of the sun will dry the wax too fast and dry out the wipe itself. I also recommend the engine hood be cool, again you do not want it to dry out to fast. Don't worry if it looks like it is leaving droplets, this is the wax and it dries clear. Just look at the picture of my engine hood with the wipe displayed. You can see the rafters of my garage in the shine of the hood. This is a no joke real deal that really works. The resealable flap is strong and is holding up. I give the Armor All Ultra Shine Wax Wipes, 12-ct, Auto Wax 5 stars and my full recommendation. Anytime I do not have to wipe wax on and then buff it off to get the shine is well worth it!
This is a pack of Armor All Ultra Shine Wipes. The package says it's the easy way to wax and protect your car anywhere,anytime. There are no paste containers,bottles of liuid or applicator pads.Each pre-waxed wipe,lets you wax in one easy application. I want to see if these work like they claim. I'm going to try them out on my sisters car. The wipe is an xl size, seams pretty sturdy,not thin.After I remove one wipe from the pack, I reseal the pack.The seal seems to seal good ,so no drying out for the remaining wipes.I start with the hood. I wipe down in one direction, without any buffing.It only took me a couple minutes to do the whole hood and one bumper. The wipe didn't leave any grease or residue on the car or my hands. I also tried it out on the head lights,and they dried clear with no streaks. Note the high shine on the car in the pictures. Also you can see the reflection of the trees and sky in the shine. They cleaned a large area as I only used the one wipe to clean the whole hood and the fender. I also tried another wipe on the dash board. They seem to clean inside the car but didn't put the same intense shine on the inside as the regular Armour All does. They were easy to use ,and I would recommend them to anyone needing their car shined in a small amount of time.
I used the wax wipe on the car while the car was dry and clean. The wipes are large and durable quality. You can use it and not worry the wipes crumble under constant wiping. I waxed the car while it was in the shade then allowed it to dry in the sun. It looked great when it dried! The car had shine and looked really clean. The wax wipes come in a handy package like baby wipes; not a bulky package. Can be kept in the glove box. I would buy again. I recommend this item for purchase. Received from Spark Reviewer Program.
Armor All Wax Wipes are really a quick and easy fix for waxing and very handy when on the go. The Armor All Wax Wipes are compact enough to take on the road or just the solution when time is an issue. The Armor All Wax wipes come in a convenient dispenser that resembles a tissue dispenser. The wax wipes come 12 wipes per pack with an easy resealable pack to keep them fresh for each use. The wax wipes are very large. Each wipe measures 10 in.x 15in. for a great amount of coverage for each wax wipe. Now I have a Chevy Cobalt and after a good wash and dry, it only took 3 out of the 12 pack of Armor All Wax Wipes and I finished my entire car beautifully. The wax wipes actually did a very good job. This resulted in a nice shine and finished look for my car. Larger cars will vary on the amount of wax wipes to be used. I also used them on my headlight covers and it actually improved them. No more foggy look. I intentionally used them on one of my back side windows and found it came out a little streaked, but the water does roll right off. I do not recommend using the wax wipes on glass. All in all I found the Armor All Wax Wipes to be a great product. Please read all directions and cautions.
The Amour All Ultra Wax wipes are simple and convenient. It comes in a resealable pouch that resembles the pouches that are used contain baby wipes. It is as easy as peeling back the lid (the lid is a transparent film on top of a perforated/precut surface opening) and pulling out the sheet. The sheet is damp microfiber cloth that is about the size of a 8 by 11 inch paper. As far as packaging, the design is great. You can easily store it in a cupboard of shelf without much issue due to the fact that it doesn't stick out like bright orange or lime container. The wax wipe sheet does a great job of making the car shine. I applied it to one side of my car and it glistened (also it might have be exaggerated due to it being a beautiful sunny day). But it works!!! My only issue is that the area one sheet covers may be too small. In addition, after a while the fibers from the wipes start to adhere to the car. it is not noticeable even after it dries off, but it is still little annoying. I would suggest using gently and not rubbing the same spot for too long. You can see the results it the pictures below ( i just washed the car so i don't know how clear the effects in the picture but in person the difference is clear as day).
I didn't have a vehicle with dull paint to test on, but I would definitely use these to maintain the current finish. I used about 6 wipes total for a full-sized domestic truck with good paint. These wipes were much larger than I anticipated, as can be seen in the photo. I ran my truck through the car wash first, and I used the wipes on a portion of the driver side door first. Of course, the black paint (difficult to photo) was hot and produced some streaking because of the heat -- oops! A few more rubs and they disappeared. What I really liked about these wipes was that you can get in the cracks easily giving the polishing job a really professional and clean look. No more paste in the cracks as with traditional polish!! I also wiped the trim around the windows/mirrors, etc. and it seemed to work just as well without streaking.
I thought I would try the "Wax Wipes" because it looked like a product that would be useful and also a great time saver. There are 12 wax wipes in a package not a container like I thought they would be packaged. When I opened the package right away I could smell an odor which to me wasn't too pleasant. The size of the wipes are 10X15 inches which is a decent size. I first cleaned the hood of my Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. I took one wipe out and it didn't feel really wet but not dried. I really didn't know what to expect as far as how the wipes would feel. I folded a wax wipe in fourths first so it would be easier to wax the hood. Secondly this way I'll know which part of the wax wipe I've already used. It was easy to move the wipe back and forth across the hood. I couldn't exactly tell which part of the hood I waxed though. Using other brands of wax the wax would turn white. You know exactly which area was waxed. My car is silver color so it was kind of hard to see the difference. However I'm pretty sure I was able to cover the whole hood with just a fourth of the wipe. As I mentioned that it is hard to tell if the hood was waxed so to tell the difference I felt a part of the car I didn't wax at the same time feeling the hood. Even though I used a waterless wash/wax product on my car not too long ago I can still feel the difference, the hood felt smoother. The package didn't give a lot of information as far as how wipes are needed to wax what size cars etc. I'm guessing to wax a car the size of my suv I might have to use a minimum of 3 to 4 wax wipes. It's kind of hard to tell because I don't know how I'm able to tell if I've used up all the wax from a wipe. The wax is clear in color. There wasn't any information. It would be nice if ArmorAll was more informative regarding their product. I think the wax wipes are a great idea. It certainly is easier and a lot faster using the wax wipes. A lot more convenient verses putting on other brands of wax, waiting for it to dry and having to use a lot of elbo grease to rub the wax off. I really don't like the smell of the wipes though. I put the package of wipes in a zip lock baggy or you can use an air tight container. I think that would be better if the wipes were packaged in air tight containers. You don't know when you'll be waxing the car again and the wipes could dry up. They probably will if you leave them in the garage during the summer when it gets hot. I suggest storing the wax wipes in a cool area.
I washed my car and after it was all dry, I took out the AmorAll Wax Wipes and followed the only directions they had stated on on the package . Which is to "Apply wax using long continuous strokes in a straight line" when I took one out of the package I noticed it was wet. So I followed the instructions and what I got were streaks on the car, as I went along and after the wipe dried it left a dull shine after it dried up . And a day later the streaks are still on the car. With no noticeable shine. Therefore , I don't think that it's that good and I give it a fair rating.
