Good product for baking, frying, just about anything. Yes, it does have a somewhat strong smell but the taste is just as I remember from childhood. Give it try.
Needed this for soap making. Very good brand hope this size stays in stock for ship to home because i love this texture and it makes a really good floating ivory soap, or oatmeal soap with a lard and lye base. Made floating ivory soap by hand for my small eb store and it makes the best. This size is for one batch of my soap so i dont have to measure it out. Its a necessity for me.
i use it on my 7 years old dry skin. its amazing.
Had learned the benefits of lard in recipes; it's a hit in our family.
I'm so sorry that I bought two and specifically for health and paleo diet. Unfortunately, once it was delivered, i saw that it was a mixture of lard and hydrogenated lard. Really bad for you and not considered paleo. I will be making my own again and will have to throw these away.
wanted the lard but it wasn't packed right.some tubes were open and spilled out all over the other tubes.nit good delivery.
this laed just doesn't work right if you're used to, well, real lard. it's hydrogenated and behaves weirdly. It doesn't have that clean taste you get from normal lard. Lots of additives to it as well all to make what should be a refridgerated product shelf stable. it might work of you have no other choices but don't rely on it.
No inner lining and it wasn't just partially open but also expired 3 months ago. As you can imagine my house doesn't smell too great. Wasn't anticipating being given open, rancid lard when I chose store pick up that's for sure. I wish they would at least have a plastic seal or some sort on this product so if it pops open it doesn't stink and get everywhere.
the person who delivered my package toseed it by my door and never knocked to even let me know it had arrived .i witnessed it through my window from my couch .. this is unacceptable
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? FOR ONE LB. OF LARD YOU CHARGES ME $3.48. It is Tinnie Tiny!!!
