I reviewed this product way before my baby was born. He is now 5 months old and still using this product. The Co-Sleeper is the best invention for parents and the best thing to have the baby by our side at night, safely. It hooks up to the side of the bed with a strap attachment and has wheels for easy rolling around the house, if needed. The sheets aren't great but you can use Better Home and Garden pillow cases (from Walmart) that feel wonderful and easy to slip on over the mat. We also bought Carter's waterproof quilted pads for the cosleeper as it made the surface smoother. You aren't going to find anything better- trust me. And our bed is high and we did not buy the leg extensions- don't need to. With the baby by our bed, I can just look down on him and he's right there! He hasn't started pulling up yet though and when he does, we'll put him in the crib.
I loved it. I had a C section which made it very hard to get up out of bed in the beginning. I also had kidney stones so sleeping in bed wasnt an option for me for about 2 weeks after delivery. I had to sleep in the chair downstairs. So we put baby in there in the livingroom and hubby slept on the couch. Then we transitioned to bedroom and baby was right by my side. Better than him being in bed, you dont have to worry about rolling onto them. And he stayed in there until he was too big and started rolling over. The pockets on the side i stuffed with diaper changing supplies and had a garbage right there also. It was really nice the first few months when they are up as often as they are and it feels like you will never get any sleep. This helps, it really does.
I love this co-sleeper!! It's a must have for any mom especially post c-sections. It does not take up alot of room which is nice, and my daughter seems to sleep really well next to us. My little one is 3 months old and she still fits well in it. Assembly was easy. This is the best and safest way to co-sleep.
After reviewing many different bassinets. This brand had one of the best reviews. I have not used it yet on my little one cause he is due in two weeks, however im sure it will live up to its great reviews. Fabric is excellent and its very sturdy. Im excited to put him to sleep in it.
Great product. Wished this would have been around for me when my kids were babies. Stress relievers are soo needed at this stage with babies and parents! Love it!
Its like your baby is in bed with you, but you don't have to worry about smothering her. When I hear her fuss or cry in the night i just turn over and there she is. I can pop her binki back in if thats the problem, or just scoop her up if she is hungry and feed her. i don't have to get out of bed, and trust me when you have a newborn, every second in bed counts.
I decided to buy a co-sleeper with my 2nd baby, and I wish I would've had one with my first. It has made my life SO much easier. She is just 2 weeks old so I don't know how it will work as she gets older, but right now it has helped me to get a lot more sleep than I would be getting. It has 2 pockets on both ends...perfect for storing diapers, wipes, xtra onesies and burp rags. It is helping my baby to get off to a good start at sleeping. I had so much trouble with my 1st child, and I wasn't able to fix his bad sleeping habits until he was 14 months old. My 2nd child is already off to a much better start at sleeping through the night because of this co-sleeper. Also, I breastfeed my baby, and this is so convenient during the night because you don't have to get up every 1-2 hours. You can just nurse your baby, put her back in the co-sleeper and you don't even have to get up. I bought the leg extenders for this also. They are very sturdy when you have the co-sleeper attached to your bed. Plus they will be wonderful if she is congested since I can add more to one side if I need to.
I'm expecting in less then a month :) so did not actually use it yet. We were looking for a co-sleeping option when we came across this bassinet - had it shipped to store, it got there a day before the scheduled date, always a nice thing :) Very easy to assemble as long as you remember to do it in the correct order (!), take down requires some force on the bottom bars but we will probably leave it up most of the time. Light enough to be moved around easily. Mattress had high self claims of being great but looks a little flimsy...if baby complains we will replace :) Over all, pretty basic but looks like will do the job for the first few months we need it :) I got the Toffee Dot color, very cute :)
I ordered the co-sleeper online for my daughter and picked it up at a nearby Walmart store. I was very pleased with the quick delivery. The co-sleeper was what I expected, sturdy construction, although the mattress is a little on the skimpy side, it is fine for a newborn. It's easy to assemble, and doesn't take up much space. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Also, you may have to purchase extra sheets which are specifically made for the co-sleeper. They are on the pricey side, but are a perfect fit for the mattress.
I have yet to use this item because my baby is not due for another few weeks. We received this yesterday and were pleasantly surprised with it. It is super easy to assemble and figure out. All you do it take it out of the travel bag and snap the bars into place. It is also very easy to collapse for storage. It is the correct height for our bed so we don't need any leg extenders although they are available. The color and print is much nicer than I expected. It's really cute and I know I will get a lot of use out it. It will be wonderful for travel too.
