This bedside bassinet was very useful to me since I had a c-section and didn't have the energy to walk across the room to a regular bassinet. Also since the side let down I had easy access to the baby for getting her out to nurse. I highly reccommend this product!
Bassinett is made very well and looks as if its top of the line. I would suggest this if you are looking for a nice bassinett to match a "mater bedroom" look. However the sheet that comes with it is cheaply made & hardly fits so you'll need to order better sheets.
I purchased this Arms Reach co-sleeper as a gift for a "Premee" Baby who is being breast fed! Her Mommy reports that both she and Baby are resting much better since she can see and hear Baby at anytime! Mommy said it's a comfort for both of them; it doesn't get any better then that! Nanny Susan PS: I had the bassinet sent to a local Walmart for the parents to pick up and that worked out well; no shipping cost!
Being a first time mom I wanted to have our little girl sleep next to us and myself be able to reach over very easily if the baby needed anything. I love this bassinet. It was not completely flush with our bed, but our bed wasn't that much higher. The straps for the bassinet to attach to the bed were great and kept myself my moving the bassinet too far away from the bed. The color was also great for our bedroom. I love that it has wheels as well. Until we were able to get our pack and play we were able to roll the bassinett throughout the house so she could take naps where one of us was. I also love how there are pockets on both ends of the bassinet for diapers, wipes, and etc.
My baby did not like sleeping in the crib. It was too wide of a space for him. Eventually he slept in bed with us. The cosleeper is great because he can feel the sides of the sleeper when he stretches out his arms. It makes him feel very secure plus he is right next to me all night. Great product for parents who have to sleep with their baby, gets them out of the bed and both can sleep without worry!
The Arm's Reach mini is awesome! It allows us to safely co-sleep, which is a lifesaver when breastfeeding a baby. The mini is sturdy, easy to transport, and can be converted to a pack and play, freestanding bassinet, or attached to our bed for safe co-sleeping. I have another Arm's Reach product (cocoon sleeper) that I also love. It seems like all of their products are well designed for all babies.
I am so far, very pleased with the co-sleeper. I have not yet used it but so far so good. The only complaints I have is that I had a hard time getting all the sides to click properly. I had to get my husband to do it. Also for some reason maybe its just my bed no matter how tight I pull the the straps it just doesnt seem to fit as flush with the bed as I would like but its not like there is a gap. But there are plenty of little pockets you can store pampers and bottles for the night in so Im excited to use it.
I absolutely love this product! It fit in our bedroom nicely and left enough room for me to get out of the bed. Our baby was very comfortable and slept well in it. It made breastfeeding easy for me during the night. My baby used this for the first 5 months of her life. The only downfall was it straps to the bed which makes it hard to change the sheets. Other than that I totally recommend this product.
It does everything it was designed to do. We all sleep better now.
