Only need about half a dozen in my yard to point in every direction. The zone it covers...."no intruding critters". Ha even my cat has figured out how to walk behind it...
I really like this item. It keeps the animals out of my flowers. Last year when my flowers bloomed the animals ate the flowers off so my flower bed was nothing but leaves from the flowers.
IT WORKS FOR CATS AND CHIPMUNCKS
This is the 4th one I've purchased. With enough sun, they keep the deer out of my yard. It works for me, but others do not get the same results. Deer used to eat the blooms off my azalea, but have avoided it the past 2 years. The only difference was the placing of the Bell & Howell device.

This product DOES NOT WORK AND DID WORK AS SOON AS I PUT IT OUT IN MY YARD! THE ANIMALS GO WITHIN ONE FOOT FROM THE UNIT, AND DID NOT SCAR THEM AWAY!? I WANT A REFUND OR SEND ME ANOTHER ONE THAT WORKS!!!??? THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING .
I tried to use the animal repeller to keep raccoons away from my bird feeders but it hasn't done what it was described to do.
I ordered one after sitting in sun for days it never work I called about it the person said we ll send you another keep that one. In a few days I got a call that I needed to make a payment so I had to use a different credit card so I did I got a new one and it wont work so I m just waiting to see Money put back for the first one and will probable just be stuck paying for one of them.No thanks will not buy again.

This product did absolutely nothing to repel animals in our garden. We bought several to place around the garden and the rabbits actually sat right next to them like it was nothing. Waste of money.
